The footage looks awesome! When I shoot in 1080/120, it’s not as crisp as yours. I never cared for the image quality on mine when shot in 120. What’s your secret? Did you experience this at first as well?
Hi, any comments on the low light performance of this lens ?? Also, is this with stabilization turned on?? We were wondering how practical it is to use this lens for film making without a tripod. Beautiful video btw 😄😄
Some cracking shots there mate! Been looking for some video examples from this lens, I’m leaning towards it over 200-600 because it’s a bit more discrete. Amazing handheld aswell by the looks of it.
I also looked at the 200-600. Went to the camera shop, and held it. It was then I know that if I bought it, I would be limited to where I could go with it. Way too heavy. This lens is light enough to throw in my bag and hike with it.
Hi, I am considering this lens to go with A7iii, but I am also considering to get A6700 just for 4k60 and 120. Considering you shot this at 120fps and 1080, it still looks good. But RUclips shows it as 4k also. Did you upscale before uploading?
Amazing video bro. I have got a small doubt regarding the A7Ill, how did you manage to shoot in 4k 120fps. Or did u shoot in 1080p and uplifted the size. And if so may I know which software did u use. The work looks spectacular mate.
Thanks Mohammed. It was shot on the A7 III at 1080p 120fps then upscaled in Premiere Pro by doubling the scale on the time line. Then when uploading to RUclips it does a great job rendering it. I have multiple examples of this on my channel. I use this technic often.
Hi, I just got this lens a week ago, paired with A6100. But I noticed when I have OS=on, drive mode=Hi, mechanical shutter, but only the 1st image is in focus(AF-C or MF). The rest of the series are miss focused. But if I either turn off OS, or use electronic shutter, all the images will be great. I thought I got a bad lens so I order a second one, but both behave the same. Just wondering if you have the same issue or not?
Hi David. Sorry to hear. I have an A7 III and haven’t had any issues. The hit ration in a burst in Hi mode seems pretty good for me; 90-95 percent. Could be the body not the lens.
@@cinquinamedia Thanks for your reply :). I do have a SEL24-240, and I don't have problems with that lens. But still a good idea to try another body. Thanks again and have a good one!
On the 24 FPS clips I used Post stabilization (Premiere Pro CC Warp Stabilization) and a couple of the 120 FPS, all others were in camera (lens + IBIS)
@@cinquinamedia Thanks for the reply! You've done an awesome job! Was having doubts about the oss of the 100-400, the ef-mount version was jittery, definitely a good lens considering the g-master is 3x more expensive.
Lovely! Top underlayed Music. Great view. Thanks!
Made me wanna buy that lens.
Gorgeous footage....very inspiring. I'm thinking of purchasing this lens.
Thanks. You will not regret it!
2 years later and this is the best footage i found to sell me on this lense for cinematic travel videography
really nice with the long lens!
Fantastic shots, and so peaceful... i could watch that for hours.
Wow! Sigma is good!
Looks good. Loving my copy of this lens.
Very well done !
Great footage mate! this deserves more views and more likes.

Hello - it is shot with stabilization on. Low light is not great since it is an F5-6.3 aperture lens. Best for day time.

Hi. Yes I upscaled the footage in Premiere to 4k, then uploaded to RUclips. I believe this renders the best results.
@@cinquinamedia Thanks. Any LUT recommendations to convert Cine 4. I am not a colorist and would like to not spend time on color grading.

Nice!
Awesome.
amazing video!
do you have any raw footage of the seagulls flying?
Thank you. Yes I do. A whole bunch.
great video
Thanks Omar
120 FPS 4K on the A7iii? I'm confused. did you shoot in HD but uploaded in 4K?
For me the color did it.
Mine seems to have problems in auto focus modes? Don't know how to tell if its the lens or the camera? A7iii, Sigma 100-400
Amazing stuff! What ISO did you use to have bright footage in 120fps with F5-6.3? Was your shutterspeed at 1/240?
Yes I shot it with a 250 shutter speed. It was a fairly bright day and never had to go beyond 400 ISO. Thank you for the encouragement.
Wow
Wow. Amazing video.
Thank you

Hi, Is that 4K footage? How come you could slow it down on A7iii?
Hello - I shot it in 1080p 120fps and then I upscaled it to 4K in Premiere.
May I know if most of the shoot taken at 400mm?
Hi Edwin- many of the shots were taken at 400mm and some in APSC mode(600 mm). I would say 75%.
@@cinquinamedia wow that is amazing
poststabilization?
Yes on some shots.
Was the stabilization limited to oss+ibis or was this warp stabilized in post?
On the 24 FPS clips I used Post stabilization (Premiere Pro CC Warp Stabilization) and a couple of the 120 FPS, all others were in camera (lens + IBIS)
