I am a late comer to your channel, I joined a band last spring and by the summer we were moving from acoustic stuff to e guitar and synth stuff, so I bought my first pedal. Found a Warped Vinyl mkii on Craigslist for really cheap, your channel convinced me I needed it, and provided so many ideas on how to use it. I now have the gen loss and mood as well. My bank hurting but I have hours of fun everyday. I come back to your channel every week. So nice to see you back, I hope you continue putting up pedal demos. Pretty content with what I have now but you’ll probably convince me to buy something else 😂
I love this pedal but I can recreate it with every pedal I currently have. Micro loops and clock with the tensor or looping with the lvx, delay and slip with the lvx, reverb and freeze with the zoia, bit crushing can be done with the the lvx zoia and gen loss mk2, and everything else with the gen loss mk2 as well along with bouncing the parameters. Yes 4 pedals vs 1 is crazy but chase bliss pedals are crazy complex. I got these 4 pedals to recreate every pedal I could imagine. Only thing I want is a strymon nightsky or dreadbox darkness alternative that chase bliss can maybe create.
A fine bit of engineering. Eons ago I had delusional fantasies about creating something like this, was using a series of Reticon analog bucket brigade shift registers, common for analog echo/delay engines of the time, mixed together with CD4000 series CMOS analog switches and other functions, to create a sort of "anything goes" delay matrix . . . the results were sort of like this, but it was just a hand soldered breadboard prototype at the time. Interesting that a modern, vastly more functional version of the concept has evolved. I already have the Habit, but, well . . . MOOD MKII may be my next CB pedal gadget. Thanks for producing it, and this video.
