Really good! Just used this to remove the stereo from a late 2013 model. Took me two hours, not used to this sort of thing. I bought in the Bojo trim removal kit to help, and it did all those pressure catches! I did break one power catch, didn't see the switch I should have pressed. So watch the video first and then watch it when doing the job. My fault though, but I've, hopefully, repaired the catch.
For Christmas 2021, I got my daughter a upgraded head unit for her 2012 Clubman. This is the video we will be using to remove the old one. We cannot thank you enough for this video!!😀👍
Right?! I did this in December, and my aux stopped working alongside my USB! I realised I didn’t change it to the head unit to the exact model number it originally had. Now I have to do it again 😭
Hi there, A quick question you might be able to help me with! If I wanted to just get to the wiring loom/plug that goes into the back of the original stereo but not want to take the stereo out is that possible from just taking the left panel away? My son‘s girlfriend is in quandary and I think I have a solution with a DSP amplifier that comes with a wiring loom to connect to the Mini’s wiring loom, but I don’t think she or her father really want to take the whole dash apart just to get to the back of the stereo! Many thanks in advance
PLEASE HELP ME! Anyone knows if the Bluetooth is connected to the Radio or part of the Radio System? The Bluetooth is giving me mad headaches. YES, you heard it correctly, it's giving me MAD headaches. I just want to remove it and if anyone knows it is part of the radio? If it is, I can get rid of the radio and YES I DO NOT mind. I'd rather have headaches free, I can live WITHOUT a radio. THANK YOU !!!!
Great video, but what a performance just to change a radio? I was going to buy a car like this. Not now, I'll stick to a Renault Clio. Slip in the two keys, remove radio, replace radio. Trust BMW to make life difficult.
8 years after it was filmed still helping people

This helped me massively today with my R56 S. needed to remove a useless old parrot unit most of which was hidden behind the radio
Absolutely amazing video. Clear and concise. Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much!
Thanks so much for the video. This has saved me so much time and hassle. Much appreciated.
Thx for the helpful vid. Was wondering... are the screws the same spec or would you have to remember which screw goes where?
Great video and I hope that you have a video to upgrade existing radio
Thank you. This will make removal very easy!
Can you upgrade the old manual climate to the digital climate without changing the connectors?
Can you show how to attach a new stereo to it please!

Was it the fuse for the radio you needed to change? I have a dead head unit. And wondering if it can be fixed
