Wow, just wow !!! These are GORGEOUS and the price that can't beat. They even included stakes and straps...that's unreal...so pampered !! I can imaging rows of DA rose trees along side the driveway or garden paths, driving or walking pass like royalty :P
These will be gorgeous! Wow, some of those roots are so large. How do you fit them in the hole or pot when growing sideways? I have been intrigued by the standards, and wondered how the grafts would do with winter.
I remember last year when you got the standards, I took some time to think about it. I ended up ordering this year Brilliant Pink and Burgundy Iceberg tree rose, it will arrive this week. I wanted Olivia in tree form but DA is out of stock. I will be watching closely your videos for advise as I begin this new journey into standards. Thanks!
When you soak them, do you use just water or do you add some water-based fertilizer to it? I've heard experienced gardeners say completely opposite things. One said to soak them in half strength fertilizer and then use that water to water them in after planting. The other said to soak them in just water and don't fertilize them until they have actual leaves on the canes.
$34, ? I've no idea how they produce such a time consuming product, package it, post it and still make a profit. I find DAs to be very vigorous. How did you lose your previous standards ?
Bad news is they are out of stock of standards. Good news is they are out of stock of standards. Gives me time to see if I can make room on my tiny patio next year 😂
The Rose Geek just want to say thank you very much. I ordered some rose used your promotion code. I saw some roses on heirloom rose, matchless mother, portlandia, and amazing grace. Their roses are so expensive, not sure if other growers carry these rose or how to get better deals in heirloom rose. Thanks again
Hello Is there a way to contact you ? I’m needing help with designing … I have odd areas in my yard that need to look pretty and more homey :) Thank you
Can I know how much the total cost, even though they don't sell in India, DA roses are very hard to find in India and the price 🤪🤪 nearly 100$ per plant
@@TheRoseGeek Ahh I'll have to look them up. I live in a cottage in the English countryside and roses would look beautiful in the front garden but every one I've planted becomes really sick after a couple of months. Thank you for the info though, will see what I can find
They seem to have erratic quality control . I received a very tiny Heathclift from them too in comparison to all the unboxing that I see on you tube. I just probably pulled the short stick on the draw. However, the 5 year warranty is not a thing to sneeze at plus it is so easy to request a replacement as long as you have proof. You should probably inform them of how unhappy you are of what you received & try emailing them. It may take a few days but they do respond.
@@concernednetizen8333 I went ahead and bought my own stakes and planted the tree anyway. This is why buying from local nurseries in person has advantages. You can pick and choose the quality vs. rolling the dice with online purchases.
@@TheRoseGeek , I live in zone 7b in VA & we had those intermittent freezes happening which affected the growing tips 😭 that I now have only 2 stems struggling to leaf out( third stem is in heaven) . I hope that this baby survives as I am tired of always starting over. I would like to see how the flowers look for real.
I always thought tree roses are way too expensive but after you explained it… they are gonna be added to my wishlist! 😂
@@TheRoseGeek Yes please keep posting those garden tours! 🤍🤍🤍
I would LOVE to see a video of you planting one of these giants. I can't imagine how big the hole had to have been.
Thanks for teaching us what to look for. I love DA. Thank you
Love this! Getting a standard for 2025 spring for the 1st time. Oh and I have that coat too 😊

They are such a bargain I thought they should at least be $140 or more as it takes so much time and effort to get them to how they are.
I agree. The price is great! I wish they would keep the stakes and rubber ties though. I think I heard they changed the quality last year.
Beautiful... I'm in cape Town south Africa.. We do get David Austin shrubs but not standards... I wud love to get 1......
How close can you plant these?
Hello . Could you please tell me where I can buy this roses?
These are from DavidAustinRoses.com

They shipped me with tiny trunk that curves like a bow and didn't include any stakes. Never buy from DA again.
