Been fighting my depression so long, trying to be good at things, good to be a person a son, brother, friend and a father. But, it is like the thing I am good at is failing to be good. People say to me that you are a guy, you can handle this.
It is somewhat truth, but make your failures WHY you continue building. But please don’t build because you’re scared, build because you wanna see others happy and yeah your failures might happen again but build because you wanna be stronger for when they come again. I PROMISE life is so much better when you have control over your fear and failures, we all fail man. But you can’t let it kill you.

Depression is not a joke, and it is certainly not a decision. Some people like me can get better when we leave what is hurting us, and even then just surviving until you can leave is hard, however there are others less fortunate whom have it due to chemical imbalances in the brain that can only be "lessened" with medication, but never really cured. Please be considerate to anyone that is going through rough times, even if you think they are not depressed because they don't appear to be, know that people can die quietly too...
I'm going through it rn, yes I laugh, I smile, I try my best to be in a good mood, also being strong to not worry loved ones or people I'm around with but deep inside all the pain eats me up and fighting battles in my head everyday, when I'm alone that's when I go through it, I drink to cope with the pain but man I really don't want to fall into that addiction either, it just sucks
