No, he isn't. Kim Bangjeong is just a silly nickname translated from Kanemoto Yoshinori. No Koreans have name "Bangjeong", cuz it's weird.
And on Treasure map, Yoshi said that his mom is currently learning Korean, so she will understand Treasure without subtitles.
In YG Treasure Box, Byounggon taught Yoshi some Korean language pronunciation lyrics. So yeah, Yoshi doen't have Korean blood.

Someone on Twitter already confirmed that Yoshi is full Japanese with proofs.
Yoshi's profile on Kprofiles says Yoshi is full-blooded Japanese, not Zainichi Korean-Japanese.
If he has Korean blood, then why didn't Yoshi mention it himself on Idol League, the one where Dara is the MC? He only said it's translated from Kanemoto Yoshinori, but he didn't mention he has Korean blood.
Why didn't he ever mention it like Aespa's Giselle who's half Korean? Giselle confirmed it on a radio interview, but Yoshi never confirmed it even after months of debut, even tho Treasure debuted before Aespa.
Zainichi Koreans in Japan can speak Korean language fluently, so if Yoshi's mom can't even speak Korean at all (she only started learning it after Yoshi debuted to understand Treasure without subtitles), then his family is full-blooded Japanese.
This is why I told you not to believe rumors and spread it if it's not officially confirmed yet. If we make speculations without official confirmation, it's disrespectful to Yoshi and his family, it might even offended him.

I actually saw the news video of his school, and it said that school has both Zainichi Korean-Japanese, Korean expat students, and full-blooded Japanese who happened to study there for various reasons such as because it's close to their house. For Yoshi's case, it might also so that he can learn Korean language faster since he's a YG trainee. That news even said that Yoshi is one of the Japanese student who study there. And that news even showed the name of the students, other students uses Korean names even the Zainichi Korean-Japanese students there uses Korean names, then why Yoshi uses Japanese names? And where's your source about the 4th generation, how do you know which generation if you only know about the school restrictions on Korean only? That doesn't mention which generation.

- I know about the generation thing, but that doesn't matter at all. It doesn't change the fact that his mom can't speak Korean at all, while Zainichi-Korean Japanese can speak Korean fluently, no matter what generations they are (except if they are mixed not full-blood Korean) since they speak Korean everyday at home with their family since birth. And they have communities and rules including they have to speak Korean at home with their family since birth to keep their identity, heritage, and tradition alive. I know cuz I watched a documentary about Zainichi Korean-Japanese. What is it that reaffirmed if it's not even officially confirmed by Yoshi himself or YG ent yet?
You also haven't answered my question on why Kprofiles didn't write that Yoshi is Zainichi Korean-Japanese on his profile. And, Kprofiles is the most trusted Kpop profile site, besides their own company official website ofc. Even SKZ Bangchan said that Kprofiles is legit and trusted.
Your answer isn't strong enough to proof the claims.
Just admit that your claim hasn't been proofed and hasn't been officially confirmed by YG ent and Yoshi himself yet, and by the evidence that we have so far, it's very unlikely. Seriously, if Yoshi has confirmed it then I have no problem at all, but he hasn't. So please, for Yoshi and his family's sake, with all due respect, don't make baseless assumptions and spread false unconfirmed rumors.

The fact that they knew Haruto was Japanese at first glance when everyone else thought he had the looks that Koreans found attractive & thought that Yoshi was Korean when he’s often associated to being anime-like is so funny to me.
For me, I knew Haruto is a Japanese set aside his name because of his eye shape. And the first time I saw Treasure members I can easily distinguish the other 3 Japanese members from their faces without searching Treasure's profile in google. There's a big difference in their visuals and the way they dress up. Its more difficult to distinguish korean and chinese rather than Japanese and korean. That's only my opinion 😊.
I actually like that the Japanese members fit so well with the koreans that you can't tell them apart sometimes, it means they have great chemistry and balance as a whole group in every aspect including their visuals...

I can definitely say that Yoshi and Mashi are Japanese if I see them for the first time. Yoshi really look like an anime, prince character while Mashi reminds me of Takeru Sato. They quite resemble each other.

TREASURE is a boy group under YG Entertainment. The boy group was formed through YG TREASURE BOX. They debuted in 2020 with 'BOY' M/V. The group is currently composed of 10 members :
Park Jeong-woo, Jihoon, Jae-hyuk, Jung-hwan (Maknae), Junkyu, Choi Hyun-suk (Leader), Doyoung, Haruto, Yoshi and Asahi.

I thought most Japanese people can tell who's Japanese 😆 maybe because they're not well used to Korean faces. Or that Japanese people have a much more diverse look than Koreans.
For me Japanese people have different facial bone structure from Koreans. And of course have larger eyes than Koreans due to most having double eyelids. Also the JLine in Treasure are not the usual handsome faces found among Japanese celebrities plus the Korean styling don't make them have the typical modern Japanese look.

Guy in multicolored sweater wearing the hat is also japanese, his name is Asahi.
Short guy, all black with the big ears is the 4th japanese member, his name is mashiho.
The one with the same hairstyle as the guy on the left is actually HARUTO, the one with Barret is ASAHI, the one with green hair is YOSHINORI and well MASHIHO is the shortest in the group and he's pretty noticeable( or maybe it's just me😆)
