Sista Misilla just so you know. The kumquat is one of the most sought after citrus to grow indoors. I also have one indoors in my south facing window and it loves it. if you do not have a south facing window, you could grow it under 5500-5=6500k led lights.

The meiwa has a very sweet taste and is less tart but has some seeds . For hardiness and bug resistance of the Nagami is superior . The Nagami is a bit more sour on the inside but it’s balanced (and no seeds).
You be using them egg shell s and coffee grounds too ., don’t you? This why I don’t have any blooms on my two trees but it just growing so beautifully. I’m bout to get some of these essentials. Those blooms you have are beautiful. Thanks for this review.
Hi Vee, I use coffee ground in my compost pile only. I do not use it through my garden anymore. I also do not believe in eggshells as they take more than a year to break down thuse not readily available for the plants. They too are better off in the compost pile.

This year I got one Obovata Kumquat fruit, which was really big and surprisingly delicious. So I decided to try germinating the seeds from it - and four of the five made it. Hi! I was interested in ordering from your Amazon link....but it looks like it's not working. I have a young Fukushima kumquat that I will be keeping in a container.
Does anyone here know if putting a sardine in the soil actually works? Or is it a bad idea? That plant looked really healthy. It must feel great knowing you planted that. Congrats.
Although there are quite a few "GARDENER" that have done this. I advise against it. Firstly not everyone has access to funds to purchase a fishing license. Secondly having access to nearby water is another thing. Third you will attract rodents that may cause your trees and plants some damage. And lastly "WHY" Your trees or plants are not going to grow any faster. With the time and labor you put in to fishing, you may as well purchase a gallon of "fish fertilizer" for $25.00. Now I'm sure if you do the math you will easily find that in just one hour of your time not including travel and setup. You incurred roughly about $40 or so to just began to fish. However in the end, it's your money and you can do with it what you want. I'm just advising in my own vain opinion. If you're someone who likes to fish, has access to a fishing license and pole. Than this may be for you. Regardless if you go this route. Let me help you firstly with any problems you might be having with your trees I assume first if you like. Thanks for stopping. by.

I removed two suckers off today and all is left is the main trunk with no branches. I scratched the trunk and it is still green. I put some organic citrus tone on top of the soil and added some organic performance potting soil mix. I water the pot thoroughly and there's good drainage in the pot. I really want to save this plant. Please help.
Hi and thank you for allowing me to assist you with your citrus needs. To answer your question: Depending on the age and size of your current citrus trees the container size would follow. As the tree grows you can and should always pot upward. However, I'm not a big fan of this logic. My trees are in 40 gallon containers and will stay there for the next of at least 5-7 years. now if and when I start to see the tree struggle I would than seek to remove it and place it in a much larger container with fresh soil amendments. In other words be sure your tree is at least 3-4 years old before you place it in such a large container (50g). Too big to soon and the water will always run away from the trees roots causing it to suffer.
