Hi Brainie Group, which exam would you recommend to attempt first? The CFA ESG or GARP SCR?

      Hi!
Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. At Brainie, we aim to provide guidance tailored to your individual needs and goals. When it comes to choosing between the CFA ESG and GARP SCR exams, we don't have a specific preference as both certifications are prestigious and can significantly enhance your knowledge and credentials in sustainable finance.
However, based on the size of the curriculum, the GARP SCR (Sustainability and Climate Risk) certification tends to have a shorter curriculum compared to the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing. This might make the GARP SCR a more concise option if you're looking for a shorter commitment to begin with.

If we want to begin our journey in ESG can we start to study these 3 concepts that you mentioned the GARP, CFA, CESGA. And if you can provide complete guide and where can we get the free learning materials for esg.

Hi Tanaya, while there may not be freely available learning materials for all aspects of ESG, there are resources available. For instance, for CFA ESG, we've created a series of short videos to help guide you through the curriculum. These videos can provide valuable insights and explanations to supplement your learning.

Hi, for the CFA ESG exam, with my 1st enrollment, how many times can I attend the exam?

    • @brainiegroup

Hi Gaurav, thanks for your question. The CFA ESG Exam Retake Policy is as follows:
Candidates who fail the exam and re-register will receive the benefit of a reduced registration fee of USD595 for each subsequent examination.
If you fail the exam twice within a six month period, you will not be permitted to register again until six months after the date of your first failed appointment. Candidates are not eligible to retake the exam once they have passed.

      Hope this helps!

Unfortunately, I don't have specific data on the remuneration expected by fresh GARP SCR candidates in India or the annual increments they typically receive. Salaries in this field can vary significantly depending on various factors such as location, industry, and individual qualifications.
