Hi Natalie, I have been watching your videos and they are very helpful. I graduated with a B Sc in Environmental Science, worked as energy consultant for 3 years, but then switched to real estate for property management for over 8 years. Now I am pursuing my career back into Sustainability and ESG consulting, do you think I still have a chance? Is it still helpful to obtain a ESG Certificate for entry level positions? Thanks!

Hello Madam ,im trying to contact you on LinkedIn but its too expensive to get premium membership
So I would be helpful if you give answer to this comment
    1. Completed my bachelor’s as mechanical engineer and enrolled in masters program Environmental and recycling technology German university
(CAN I DO ESG INVESTING CERTIFICATION COURSE )
Is it related to my masters program.
    2. What are the major skills and qualifications required for ESG
SORRY for this lengthy question 😊

Hi, thanks for your comment! Below are my responses:
      1. Yes, of course. As our guest speaker highlighted in the video, this program is suitable for individuals from different backgrounds, meaning that anyone can participate. ESG is indeed a cross-disciplinary topic that encompasses not only the Environmental (E) factor, but also the Social (S) and Governance (G) perspectives. It's impressive that you have both an engineering and environmental background, as this equips you with an environmental mindset that makes you a strong candidate for the program. I suggest that you can explore the "S" and "G" aspects further, especially in the business and finance contexts, to see if ESG is a field that truly interests you.
      2. There is a wide range of skills that help you become an ESG practitioner. These include fundamental ESG concepts, basic knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks and guidelines, and relevant policies and regulations. But more importantly, having a data-driven and analytical mindset, strong reporting and communication skills, and the ability to stay updated on the latest ESG trends would be most beneficial. As for qualifications, it really depends on your role, organization, or specific issue area that you focus on. I've created another video that focuses on sustainability/climate/ESG risk management (link: ruclips.net/video/Hg-eS-6ulZE/видео.htmlsi=SyRTnz-eP2-KxPui ), feel free to check that out. I'm also planning to create more videos on other ESG-related qualifications, so stay tuned!
Thanks again for supporting this channel! Hope you find these videos helpful. :)
