    great video!! quick question, what if i just want to use TMC5160 without the diag sensorless homing setting, should i # the diag1_pin, senser_resistor, and driver_SGT?

    The non pro 5160 does have a DIAG thru hole (and the diag pin output is in the datasheet) so I hope if I just solder a goldpin there, it should be able to do sensorless. The vendor info states that it does support stallguard.
    Edit: Yes. The regular 5160s do sensorless homing. You simply need to solder a goldpin to the diag thru hole

    This is unknown to me atm... but im guessings when the motor tries to run and load gets heavyer the end stop triggers.
    "driver senses the lost steps" ah thats pretty cool

    Clickbait. Contents do not match title. You put "SPI" in your title, but never show how it's hooked-up. Furthermore, the two TMC5160 devices you show, you never hook-up or use! So why are they even on the screen??? Thumb-Down.

      Little concerned you're not watching full tutorial.
      SPI is in tutorial.
