I wasn’t allowed a dog for a while! I finally got my first dog last year! Her name is Maisy and she is a goldendoodle! Maisy is turning 2 on March 20th

I wasn’t allowed a dog my whole life, I’m mid teens now and I’ve wanted one since I was about 3, but unfortunately I have to move away and the moves been hard on me since i have to be homeschooled, which means leaving all my friends. I’ve changed schools about 4 times, this being my 5th and I wanted someone to stay with me the rest of my life because I wasn’t sure how to deal with leaving some of the greatest friends I’ve ever had, moving two hours away. Parents finally agreed to getting me a pup, a chocolate lab! My parents issue is the dog being in the house so we’re going to be getting a 6x10 storage shed with heating, lights etc. and it’s basically going to be a mini house for the pup and I’m gonna be in there doing my homeschooling all day and taking him for walks and stuff since there’s a park right across our new house. And hopefully since we’re all homeschooled (I have 5 siblings) we’ll be able to go out and about a lot more- we go wales alot and are looking to go Ireland and that means I can take the pup along! And this channel has been super helpful my shopping carts are filled on shein and Amazon with things for my future pup tysm!
Your dog won't be full grown until they're two year olds. They might be at full height at a year old, then they will continue to grow and fill out until they're two. The larger the dog, the longer it takes for them to fully mature. But him being a large dog? Assuming a Golden Retriever, or a Siberian Husky, or a Saint Bernard, or a Alaskan Malamute, possibly a German Shepherd and or just a Poodle. Maybe a Doodle since they're really popular, but those aren't really a breed, so those are my guesses. :) If you wanna do organic treats, you can boil chicken, pork, etc and dry it out to make treats, or they'll stay fresh for a week in a container and or a baggie. For toys for puppies, different textures are the best because puppies use their mouthes to feel everything. So new textures, or a variety will probably be thoroughly enjoyed, just because it'll be something new and exciting. Something "different". I'd advise getting a puppy Kong, you can put in peanut butter or yogurt and freeze it. Lemme know if you have any questions! :)

Hey, I noticed one of the treat packets you have are from blue buffalo, I really don't recommend feeding your dog them as that brand of food has admitted to lying about their ingredients and have been accused of making many dogs sick and some dying from it, just wanted to let you know :)
@@caityalanah I recommend looking up freeze dried dog treats on Amazon, most of the ones that pop up are just one ingredient so it's pure meat or fish and I think they're the best ones for dogs :)

Aw thank you so much you’re so sweet!! I wasn’t allowed a dog for the longest time but me and my brother finally convinced my parents recently to let us! I think what helped the most was telling them that we would be the only ones to take care of him and that him and I are the only ones paying for the puppy as well! I think the main advice I can give is to really know if you’re ready to take care of a puppy and have him for 10-15 years of your life! It’s a huge commitment but if you take care of him and offer to do all the walking and feeding I think that might help!!🥰 best of luck to you!! And you’ll find out very soon I promise! For toothpaste I used organic coconut oil and baking soda for my puppy. She loved the taste of the coconut oil.
