That's what I plan to do, have a 2nd FCVPI dressed up as a NYPD car with a proper NYPD lightbar just to have around and display.. probably play with the lights and sirens in the garage. 😆

Two years ago i bought myself an unmarked 2011 P7B used by a local PD's detective with 10,000 miles marker in pristine condition for $1,000. 30,000 miles later she is still going strong. Buying a Crown Vic brings me fond memories too. Back in the days where Crown Vics dominated the streets, i could recognise them by the engine sound more than the sirens. I also knew when cops were on night patrol by hearing it. It's one of a kind. You should buy a Panther platform car if you want a cheap, reliable proto muscle car

Sadly they weren't efficient anymore. Big V8 but didn't put out enough HP anymore. The 4.6 is easily one of the most reliable engines you can have but a 2022 Honda Civic is faster then a Vic now days the way they make cars. The Vic will easily outlast any police car on the road today. There's a reason many departments still use them 12 years after being discontinued. They are pure power work horse and reliability all in one. Plus easy as hellllllll to work on.
