If your having problems with injurys get a a free agent as you can sign them through out the whole year, and when the players come back from injury sell the free agents on and bam not only have you covered a position for a little while you also make a tidy bit of profit.

I honestly think that this is the best career mode series you have ever put out. Only because your passion for the club is evident in how you play and how hard you work for the goals. I saw some of your Football Manager 15 Twitch streams with Oviedo as well as your original video with the club and I see the same passion you had for them then still burns as brightly as it does now. Good job, Spence and keep it up! 😁✌

A tactic I like to use in the transfer window is when an offer comes in for one of your players have a look through their squad and try to get one of their good players in a swap. It doesn't have to be a straight swap but you'll at least get them for a bit less
You should do 4 matches an episode, mate. You fit in the transfer stuff as well as 3 matches in this episode, now the window is shut you can easily squeeze another match in. It will get us through the season quicker :) Enjoying the series so far :)

Train your players every weak! There is some kind of bug. You can get a player to grow 8-15 ratings in one year!

Elliot Knight It is not normal for any player to grow 15 ratings, and it's not realistic. He should definitely exploit the "Bug" or whatever you might wan't to call it
August Kristensen How isn't it realistic? The players only grow at such a rate if you focus all of your attention on that specific player. If that was done in real life we would see similar results. Just look at players like Joe Gomez and Dele Alli - they grew by 12 or 13 points this season.

As the rating gets higher, it's harder to get them to grow. I believe potential plays a part in it too. For example if a players potential is 74 then it's harder to upgrade them and they'll only go above 74 if they start too. While it is bad, it also has its positives. On the previous FIFA's you could get a 77 rated striker scoring 40 plus goals in a season, then in the next season his rating only goes up one. In real life the rating would jump to 83 or above. It's only unrealistic if you abuse it, but I suppose that's up to the player.

Spence in Fifa 16 can't you sign free agents out side of the transfer window so you could use this to your advantage considering the injuries you have just gained to important players, you might not find any decent ones but worth a look.

Hey man, some advice: When your youth scouts find a player, don't offer them a contract straight away like that, they grow a lot quicker if you leave them in your academy till they ask to leave, otherwise they will come into your squad at like 50-60 rated. You can actually train them when they're in your academy too.

If you're light in any positions, hire some cheap scouts and bring some youth players into the positions you need, I think you can sign players that don't have any contracts outside of the transfer window as well, there won't be many decent ones, but when you need to play a striker for a cup game, they come in handy.
Gonna be a little awkward then if you go and sell some of their players because they're not "good enough"

Try getting Gonçalo Guedes from Benfica on loan. He's a wide midfielder with a potencial of 88! He's 70 rated with 81pace and 74 dribbling.

Not sure it you can, but you can try to sign a free agent striker. Not sure if you're allowed to sign them outside the transfer window but you can try if you need a sub, good tactic for starting a career mode with a weak club
You can train players in your youth academy before you sign them, and they grow a lot quicker (about +1 per month) than if you sign them then train them.

You can sign a striker from the free agents for some depth, I believe in 16 you can sign free agents at any time during the season.
Can tell you have been playing football manager this year, samper, neves and odegaard are incredible on this years FM.

btw for those who dont know, real oviedo were reall succesfull in the 1920-30s and they were the first to play the triangular passes
