I was super lazy and leveled a fresh toon using this build instead of respeccing from Voldrak + Cadence, and it still worked beautifully. Really excited to complete the Avenger set and see the power spike it'll bring. Thanks for sharing this awesome HC build!
Was looking at this build since its first version, but haven't got the required gear. And just few minutes ago dropped 2 pieces of Avenger set from Aspirant Crucible 170, already had 1 before + recipe for another one. The only thing missing is Kuba's pants and head piece. Head piece can be transmuted from armor or just replaced for some time with Fleshwarped Casque, have a collection of nice ones. Can't wait to own Celestials ^_^
Warder is my main character at the moment...but I put quite a twist to it: 90% of the points went to Shaman, only upgraded Soldier to Lv5. Added Grasping Vines, Briarthon and Wendigo Totem. It's actually quite fun to play even though it's a bit all over the place xD

This build can still easily kill ravager and calla on current patch even with the DR nerfs. Getting really well rolled gollus rings was annoying and the amulet was an insane amount of SR grinding, but still a very powerful build.
it seems to me that your previous build was more savvy and also powerful...I think I'll try this one too, but I see less save for hardcore here; in that build you had the "Will of the Menhir" completely pumped, but here only by one...

Firstly, the guide. Wow! I didn't even know that a toon could have this level of HP regeneration. This has to be the textbook definition of a TANK! Secondly, and this might just be me, but I find the 2nd face from the left, at 38:15 mark, as that of ChapterMasterValrak from the 40K community, here at RUclips.

I can somewhat "easily" farm the rings and the rylok crest but, the damn kupalabras underpants ffs.. is there some other pants that would work just as well or even somewhat that are easier to come by.. I have no issues killing the bastard, just finding him is the issue..
Usually you farm gear from nemesis in SR 65+ or Crucible 150-170. It's generally faster compared to hunting them down in the main campaign once your character is strong enough.

One thing that has always puzzled me about the game is that that my 2H builds are always super tanky, but my DW builds feel like glass cannons at best. These 2H builds just shred through the game with ease, but why don't the DW? The only DW that I could make that was actually tanky was a Savagery build with the DW medal. There shoul be more options, or I am just not seeing it. Nightblade is great, but boy does it get hit hard.Any sugestions?
Is it necessary to side with the kymon's chosen or Death's Vigil or it doesn't matter? Also what would be the attributes distribution. I thought that it would be all on Physique but it seems you have more Cunning.
For this build it doesn't matter. Physique/Cunning are both great for this build. Physique for DA/HP/some regen, Cunning for damage and OA and a little bit of Spirit to equip rings/amulet.
Not long ago started grim dawn. How would you build the devotion tree? I’ve tried several times but can’t get the same skills at the end. Always brick it half way through to get the affinity’s
I am trying to figure out a devotion path which allows you to get Vire, Azrakaa, -and- Tree of Life, but it seems like doing that means you must sacrifice Behemoth/Ulzaad and Kraken since they require Green. The question is, am I gaining that much damage by goofing around with the stars... or am I back to where I started because Kraken and Ulzaad are damage based devotions?

Can this build tank Mogroden? I saw the 30M health pool, zoned out, ate an attack that oneshotted me and that was it. Was this a skill issue or is the build not able to take on Mog?
@@rektbyprotoss 80% + another 80%? No, only had it at 30 or so overcapped. But I saw my error: I got complacent while farming the cat and didn't even have components/enchants on my gear. I tried again dashing out of the thunderstorms and not facetanking but it was a slog. I managed to drop his hp from 31M to 25 before something killed me. Anyways, my OA/DA were in the low 2300's and my armor 3.1K so I need to raise them first before I try again.
Yeah this is something that new players will struggle with. You can complete devotions to get you to another devotion and then remove the first one as long as the second one is now "self sustaining" from its own completion bonus, if that makes sense.

@@digital2701361 "almost exactly" is the answer. Worse rolls on stats on the gear will force you to invest more points in physique and spirit resulting in less available for cunning. For example, pants with "Of the boar" suffix may have from +105 to +123 physique. He also has +4% cunning on his relic, not to forget +2% phys and +2% spirit, which also releases some point to invest in cunning.
@@digital2701361 with my affixes which are different from his i have 891 phys (12 points), 480 spirit (15 points), 982 cunning (69 points), and i keep 11 points unspent for future possibility to change gear in case of finding something better. Can refund some spirit, but don't want to spend potions for respec. If i invest 11 points in cunning, that would result 1074 cunning and 2885 OA. But i have still less dps. He shows 154k, i have 128k when only permanent auras. But i feel fine, greatest damage dealt is 1677k :)
@@digital2701361 just changed pants and medal for better ones. Now it's 891 phys (10 p), 1064 cunning (86 p), 403 spirit (11 points). And 3228 OA with permanent buffs only = 3470 with Savagery and 3791 with Savagery + Fighting spirit. Can't find any drawbacks. DA is fine, resistances too (43%+ except chaos 35%), lower armor compared to his but still fine. Crits are awesome with 3791 OA!!!

This already was a great build before 1.2 and now it is completely insane. 21K+ health regen is nuts.

More aggressive builds to take on Callagadra like a Pierce Infiltrator.
The skill ceiling definitely went up a lot and allows more squishy builds to do more content, if you play them well.

Doombringer is great for offense, especially on Archon.

You could try a conduit of wild whispers with the -% phys mutator to devouring swarm.
which one is more tanky Warder or Warlord
Both are similarily tanky tbh. Warlord is the tankiest shield class while Warder is the tankiest 2h class.

Some devotions are autosustained you can respect the path anda still have the devotion

when to make the swap from forcewave to cadence, and then to savagery? is there certain gear or devotions needed before you want to respec to those?
You need voldrak's crusher to play cadence and at the very least a troll bonecrusher to play savagery (ideally full Avenger set).

It has DA now instead which is pretty good on 1.2.1. So if you are looking for a defensive affix, it's still one of if not the best.

the devotions don't make sense, how did you get 3 red and 4 green to start behemoth/5 green for kraken? what order did you choose the signs?
He likely completed a small constellation like Jackal and then respecced the points once completion bonus made the constellations self sufficient.
Yeah this is something that new players will struggle with. You can complete devotions to get you to another devotion and then remove the first one as long as the second one is now "self sustaining" from its own completion bonus, if that makes sense.

XD pick the Tier 3s (the ones that don't grant any affinity) last
