Where do you think Batman Arkham Shadow takes place in the Arkham timeline?
Maybe few months before asylum
arkham videos says that it would be after origins and before asylum so I think we should go with that but I really hope there is a mention about it of batman creating clones or something because we can't rest until batman is alive news comes out

In my opinion I believe the game could take place between Origins and Asylum
Not only because the suit looks like a Pre-Asylum suit, but especially because if you pay close attention in the trailer, the alley that the rat runs through has a Vote for Dent campaign button on the ground and Dr Harleen Quinzels ID badge, possibly from Blackgate
I believe this could be placed in that Post Origins, Pre Asylum point of the timeline

The fact that this game wasn’t leaked from what I know gives me hope that there’s a studio somewhere out there making a proper triple a Batman game.

here’s to hoping that this will be like the other arkham vr where it’s a shorter game that adds context and depth to the triple a game coming out alongside it AKA an actual arkham origins sequel, they can do it, holding out all hope😫🙌
From what ive seen the previous arkham vr game didnt really allow you to do much, it was kind of like a interactive movie, i have much higher hopes considering its going to be published by a AAA VR studio, responsible for other amazing vr games, and because its locked to the quest 3

Think about. I know people won't agree to it but... what if wb montreal decides to make arkham origins a soft reboot and make a proper arkhamverse of their own. Since rocksteady never recently acknowledged their game.
@@nemesisprime4501 there was plenty of stuff acknowledged in Arkham night but I would prefer a reboot so they can start fresh and not have any restrictions of what they can and can’t do, due to what happens farther in the timeline

Did a breakdown on the trailer with all the easter eggs which heavily point to it being a sequel to Origins/prequel to asylum imo.. but you never know! Either way can't friggin wait! As someone who loves VR, loved Rocksteadys Arkham VR, and loves Arkham in general, this is so exciting. Hopefully this sets up the next AAA Arkham Game!

Yes and no yes because it's 1 of Kevin last performance with Mark Hamill and no because it will probably be just 3 lines with grunts for both him and Hamill I mean look at what they did with Will Friedle's Terry in Part 2 he was just a short cameo with barely any lines

If it has smooth locomotion, I'm definitely going to upgrade to a quest 3 if it actually doesn't come out on the quest 2 as well.

zooming in on the batman poster, you can actually make out the stubble on his face that Bruce had in Origins. further confirming that this is set closer to origins than to asylum, and that it will be Roger returning to wear the cowl

The game most likely happens between Origins and Asylum. It seems like Batman is wearing an armored suit with a cowl shaped similar to Origins, but he’s changed some elements like his yellow belt and logo, which resemble Asylum and City, to show his transition.
If all goes well could we possibly get 2 more sequels to origins??? I believe that origins is like 5 years before asylum and that’s a lot of story to tell
It’s 8 years before Asylum and 10 years before Knight.

Hey Caboose I was scrolling through my recommended and found the hacked footage of Marvel's Wolverine. Or at least that's what it claims to be. It seems very realistic and is actually making me believe that this is real footage. Do you know if it is actually fake or not because I don't want to get spoiled if I see anymore of these "leaked footage of Marvel's Wolverine videos"
I guess careful what we wish for we've asked for a origins sequel for years we might finally be getting one and its not only vr exclusive its also only playable on the meta quest 3 meaning even less people are gonna be able to play it

Arkham Origins was great from the beginning. I feel this is gonna be solid too. I’m really hop in its larger and longer than Batman Arkham VR though

I actually think this is a good thing it seems to be testing the waters with WB shopping the Arkham IP around to other studios to see what they can do with it now that their faith in rocksteady is probably shaken after SSKTJL was a failure.
They could legit do an entire trilogy of triple A games with Roger Craig Smith as Batman in between Origins and Asylum there’s like 10 plus years of stories there that we haven’t seen. Batman’s grew more mature, crushed ALL the corruption in the GCPD, more villains popped up, he went thru 3 Robins, Barbra Gordon became batgirl and oracle there’s so much rich potential in that time period that I would one to see other studios/companies give their twist on.
Facts so much happened in that timeline and also I would like them to make Arkham games on the timeline between Arkham asylum and Arkham city because a lot has happened between that 18 month timeline as well like building Arkham city, the tiger guards hunting batman dow, how Hugo strange found out batman's identity. There are a lot that happened

Also, if the clone theory does turn out to be true for suicide squad and Kevin conroy did not do any voice lines for Batman, maybe the origins actor could also do that? He could change it up and make it less violent and more of an Arkham knight Kevin conroy impression.

It sucks that it's not on consoles but maybe they could work it on consoles. I loved Origins and this would be a great game to play. Hopefully it will come to consoles later but right now, I get the feeling that it won't. I don't play VR games because, in my opinion, the VR headsets are too expensive.

@@Billy-tn3ft The suicide squad is in the Arkham universe, and they have so far announced 5 seasons, and will add lores to that universe. When you have more then one studio contribute to the universe in terms of lores and they don't communicate or control what can be added, it could be a mess, I am sure fans don't want that happen to our beloved franchise.
This is Camouflaj, a VR studio and let me tell you, VR devs are usually more passionate about their jobs than AAA mainstream devs.
They have so many references to it they didn’t ignore it at all.
I really hope that this will actually lead to us to get a actual Arkham game.....I don't really want to buy a VR for just one or two games.....also when people were hating on Arkham Origins I absolutely loved it I couldn't put the game down and I wish we got that has part or the return to Arkham collection on ps4 and xbox one
I mean unless Batman is the only game you play, you'd have more than just one or two games.
Quest 3 has Assassin's Creed, Iron Man, Resident Evil 4, an Action Adventure Mythology-based game (Asgard's Wrath 2), a Soulslike (Grimlord), a Doom-like Roguelike (Dead Hook), Splinter Cell-like (Espire 2), a spiritual successor to Soul Sacrifice (Soul Covenant), a game similar to Infinity Blade but in VR (Until You Fall)
and the upcoming ones are Alien, Attack on Titan, Metro, Behemoth
just in case, you don't need a PC for this, not even the TV which consoles need, just the headset itself.

Alright I take back a bit of what I said in other video comment sections. This seems like it could be a cool game, that might, and hopefully lead into a far bigger AAA title. I'm hoping it does well despite it not being available on multiple platforms, which will definitely affect sales of the game for a lil while. Also if this does take place anywhere near Origins there is definitely hope for a Remaster of Batman Arkham Origins as well!😄🤞🏼

How does VR make you sick
when did you last try VR?
Quest 3 has better lenses, much higher refresh rates and the VR games now have better comfort settings.
All those combined help mitigate motion sickness.
Also being sick in VR is similar to lacking Stamina, you can train it.
as long as you don't push it too far you'd eventually not get sick anymore.

I'm going against the grain and saying this takes place between City and Knight and will take place on Bleake Island. Ratcatcher comic lore will prevail and I believe we see his gear laid out surrounded by blood and bandages is because it's after the Penguin attack but before his run in with Arkham Knight.
Rat catcher died way before knight I think he might have died between Arkham asylum and Arkham city because penguin fed him to the shark if I'm not mistaken

@@daquansimmons6513 I have some hope because Meta is behind it which means the devs were basically given unlimited money. WB said they were done with single player so this seems like a licensing deal similar to Marvel and Sony with their PlayStation games.
