The info on 1/8 between sheets was really great. The hint about not placing skatelite right over same crack of plywood was really good too! Worth it for just those to things.
Wow life flys by ,i rember seeing u a Torquay Australian when u shere probably 14 lol with hawk ,hosi, and caberlera good times ,i l had the giant boatd too ) think it was your first boarf ?
I'm building a ramp with a 6'10'' radius at 5.5 feet high and 16 feet wide at first (with steel pipe coping) and 10 feet of flat. I will then add an 8 foot wide elevated section (making it 24 feet wide in Phase B) that goes to 6'10'' (with pool tile) and I might even make that elevated section 7 feet high (so with 2 inches of true vert). In your experience, would this be a good design for a advanced kids/teens to take it to the next level on!? Or will it be a waste of skatelite and should I be considering an 8 foot radius? I would like the kids to be able to transfer skills to the big bowls and parks easily. Am I out to lunch?
Hows the build personally if it was me 8 ft is easier to ride 6 and 7 ft verts are awkward 10 would be optimal but obviously take up to much space I'm gonna start a 4 ft for my 7 yr old son this summer
My ramp is 5ft high, 10ft flat, with 8ft radius…. Covered in SkateLite (purchased from #newlineskateparks). It’s smooth and perfect like butter. (And I live in Around Vancouver BC Canada where it knows how to rain ;)
Hey Joseph! Happy to help, we are in Tacoma, WA. The River Road park is getting a complete upgrade this week but we are happy to help with any other parks you want some help with, we have tried to call UP a few times to give them the material to fix the damaged sheets. Email info@Skatelite.com and we will get you squared.
The first two layers of plywood go on sideways (make sure you stagger/offset the seams of the first and second layer, otherwise you might get a kink in the ramp) then the skatelite or riding surface goes on vertically at the transitions and horizontally on the flat bottom. (Even on the last layer you want to offset the seams)

Hopefully one day I'll do this.
Love Danny Way
This is real useful, cheers
Wish you shared details on the ramp specs. Height and transition would be awesome to know
Really nice!

What are the Demotions and radius of this Ramp? its Exactly what I want to build. And how many sheets of Skatlite do I need.
That's extremely helpful
How much did this project cost.

04:15 skatelite? if you are broked... then masonite is you only option.
We have some budget friendly options as well, we have discounted and used material featured in our shop: www.skatelite.com/collections/sheet-happens
@@skatelite awesome that you are selling used plys. I will be looking on them in the summer when I can save enough money. Thank you.
How can we repair skatelite ramps? We have a couple parks in Puyallup, Washington and University Place, Washington that need repair so badly.

Ramps even without skatelite are still dope tho
Yo guys, what is the radius of miniramp? the number. Please tell, we want to build that one in Tbilisi
5 feet tall, 16 feet wide, 8 foot radius, and 8 feet of flat.
What is the paint you use?
Any kind of exterior paint will work just fine.
If you have a drink every time they say skatelite I guarantee you won't make it through the video 😂
have fun haha
do you need to put the top layer of wood going sideways so when you go done it it will be more smooth?

Looks like regular mdf
how high and long that is
