  • The World Of Hackers - Until recently, many of us thought we were safe online and that the Internet provided a safe haven to share ideas and democratize information with the security of privacy. But then headlines emerged with stories of Wikileaks, Snowden and the NSA.
    The World Of Hackers (2017)
    Director: Flo Laval
    Writers: Flo Laval
    Stars: Amaelle Guiton
    Genre: Documentary, Thriller
    Country: United States
    Language: English
Also Known As: Guardians of the New World
Release Date: December 31, 2017 (United States)
    Synopsis:
Guardians of the New World introduces us to the world of hacker culture. Emerging from the 70’s counterculture around conceptions of personal freedom, decentralisation of power and sharing, hacking really came to prominence with the emergence of the Internet as a ubiquitous public forum from the late 90’s onwards.
Hackers have emerged as both a threat to government and civilian security, or its saviour, often depending on your point of view.
Governments are starting to see the dangers presented both from outside their borders and within from this subculture of devoted keyboard warriors and are responding with force. In the USA the authorities do their best to keep up with those suspected of online subversion, while other governments have threatened to switch off the Internet all together. Far from being safe behind their screens, the new digital revolutionaries are being thrown behind bars, or in some countries like Syria tortured, while hackers in other countries do their best to support them, and keep their networks secure.
Guardians of the New World gives context to this often misunderstood subculture. For behind closed doors, in bedrooms and living rooms across the world, a war is being fought that will affect us all, and the battlefield is online.

Low and high frequencies, subghz, Wiegand protocols and rfid attacks.. You have to gain entrance physically before you can even think about hacking the system…

It would be nice if everyone in the world watched this video although: let it be known that even if those who had produced this video were able to have their way: about reforming governance systems; their solution still wouldn't work because (their way) is still a wealth based system - of of over-lording & thus over-controlling their fellow man - for as long as any humans believe in the convenience of generating money "as their provision system": utilizing Mass-populations as the (to build their money based empowerment over-others) as the mis-use of the internet (for generating "environmentally unsustainable" personal wealth) always does.
Let it be known that they're just "attempting" at setting up another "will-fail wealth empowered government.
Because the excessive convenience of money as a provision system will always re-evolve back into such a thing as it is today.
The only way to correct the problem it should go back to small populations generating food (strictly-locally) "and (& thus with a re-focused mind) "much less" for their personal bank accounts. Excessively clever science of economies via technology for their provision system destined by God to become a fail for humankind convenience of money -withwhich - to covet and buy all things of un-sustainable excessive-convenience
It's because of the human tendencies she loves to coverage and buy all things of excessive conveniences & that is why the world has become unsustainable.
And in these last days major mess you have to live in.-

That is only half true. While the modern debt based monetary system is obsolete and harmful, it does not mean we should abandon the great benefits of an interconnected world that can and will share resources. While I do agree that communities should be self sufficient as much as possible when it comes to food production and other essentials, larger systems are also necessary for us to develop and thrive. Simply surviving is not enough, our culture, systems, and technology must advance too. We don't want to end up with another black death killing of most of our population, something which will happen without modern medicine. On average we live longer and under better conditions now than ever before in history, so while there is certainly room for improvement we shouldn't abandon what we've built here. New things always create new problems, we need to adapt and solve these problems rather than simply bury our head in the sand and go back to an age of horses and carriages. While that age might seem cute from a romanticized perspective, the reality of it is not, in reality it means higher infant mortality rates, less children surviving into adulthood, lower life expectancy, more people dying from preventable illnesses, less food to go around, higher chance of localized famine, less information, which means it becomes easier to oppress or even enslave a population, less ability to uphold laws, and so on. It will not be the nice little old fashion communities you're imaging, maybe a few will be if they're lucky, but many others will be horrible. It is possible to create systems which both account for strong small local communities that are largely self sufficient and global interconnection at the same time, without the need for the current debt based and unfair monetary system. Designs for this already exists, it's just that nobody wants to risk trying them and refining them. These systems too are not without problems, but at least the're better than the current ones. Global cooperation is not a bad thing, it's actually a very good thing, it's global predatory capitalism that is a bad thing.

Say if you're a Russian and even if your job title says ethical but when they ask u to break into USA, your legal or ethical part applies to Russian laws and even u will be a hero in the eyes of the people u work for, but to USA laws you will be as the criminal and vice versa. So there are no ethical hackers, just hackers.

Free software doesn't mean "free beer". It means "freedom" to do anything/something on it. Idealistic. But once released, no one will buy it. The only thing that matter is the fact that "commercial" companies cannot just use it for free as long as there are other groups "auditing" the commercial companies software tools, and government to regulate them. So they are forced to buy software that is intended for sale. Being paid shouldn't and doesn't hurt, but encouraged.

We all have a "the loop" in our city, just find it! Or create it ! Together hacking is funnier and as i see in the comment we are all aware that we absolutely need hackers now more then ever. Politically or even for a neutrality on the net. Things moovin fast

Yeah, hacking actually started in the '60s - initially with phone phreaking (hacking phone lines) and then in 1969 ARPANET (the initial version of Internet used at the beginning mostly for military purposes) was born and just put everything to a new level when the universities got connected to it. With the universities connected to the "big" ARPANET network hacking became favorite activity for geeky curious students and that activity spread hugely so that in '80s two hacker magazines appeared: '2600 magazine' in 1984 and "Phreak magazine" I think in 1986. In 1986 an anti-hacking legislation was put into existence in the USA and as a result of this FBI started chasing wildly hackers each and every day. Just read the "Hacker Manifesto" written in 1986 and you'll get what I mean.

The hacking subculture started in the 60s with the tech that was prevalent at the time, phonephreaking, pirate radio/tv, etc

More like she thinks it's illegal or socially unacceptable.
But it's understable mistake, many people conflate these things with morality, especially ones that have sexond-handed understanding of morality.
