At 4:36 maybe the reason why UI doesn't dodge here is probably cause Goku doesn't have the ki to dodge, I can't be too sure on that until the game drops
That is 100% it actually, I didn't think to look at the Ki because I've been looking at so much more Whis gameplay, which in Globku most recent video does dodge while backturned. So definitely his Ki here.
UI is an automatic dodge as long as you are not inputting anything else. Because you aren't inputting anything obviously you can at any time and aren't stuck in block etc.
@@FunY_T yes you can immediately block out of UI, this is where the vanish mixups come in however where the opponent tries to hit next with either a Rush Attack, a delayed rush attack to reset pressure/start a combo on timing mixup, a Safe Rush Technique vs Heavy Finish/Rolling Hammer, a grab, a Ground Slash or a Lift Strike. A lot of options to keep track of at once for mix ups.
@@FunY_T Yes, at 10:56 he blocks instantly out of UI with no wind up frames seemingly. So it appears to be a Frame 1 block but you have to press the block/guard button to start the instant block.
I do agree he is not living to it’s expectations, for a character that broke the internet he ain’t even a transformation, and the ultimates and kills are just basic in my opinion
Even if it turns out to be mid, I can already feel annoyed by all the 🐀 kids running Goku UI + MUI Goku + Whis team online. Will have to teach them a lesson the old fashioned way 🤜🏻
Finally a rational guy! People are going mad but they just played tenkaichi for a bit. First thing MUI and whis gonna cost like 9 or 10 points to play on ladder then a good BT player know that the strongest characters in the show is not ( and by far) the strongest in the game.
@@dizzyb2309 5:00 lil bro UI gets hit by grab, Rush technique and Charged light Smashes whereas blocking only a grab would hit and you can just burn their Ki if they are Goku and leave with a Rush vanish and now you have more Ki than them, 4 rush attacks burns 1.5 bars of Ki. UI advantage here is basically just not having a vanish lock out window but you can force a block with Flying Kick or other safe Rush techniques so you can burn their Ki and force them into Block anyways because UI wont dodge Rush techniques. The mixups are not in the favor of the person trying to use UI as an alternative to block.
