Hi Jess! Hubby and I are just back from a 10 day organized tour to Japan. We did enjoy it but the weather looked just like what you are experiencing., although we did have a few sunny days but still very cold. Very interesting country though and we loved the people. Japan is a must to visit! 🤗🇦🇺🇯🇵

How do you navigate the language barrier? I would love to do this but the complete lack of language skills holds me back.
I use google translate a lot! I will type what I am trying to say in english and play it in Japanese and this helps me get by :) In tokyo everyone speaks in English, it is more so just the more remote areas where there is a bit of a language barrier x
