No worries, I'm forcing myself on a book buy ban...I did amazon, mckays, and gottwalls (my own 2nd hand shop). Then came into some books from a family member and have about 10 medium size boxes to go through.

If You're Reading This, You're In the Wrong Universe is the fourth book in the John Does at the End series. John Dies at the end took me the longest to read but that's because I watched the movie first. Haha this is one of my favorite series. I actually started with This Book is Full of Spiders (#2), then bought the subsequent books as they came out, then after watching the movie a million times went back and bought and read John Does at the End. It's a weird series, very weird and I love it. Where Sleeping Girls Lie I am currently reading. I bought after reading Ace of Spades by the same author and I just tore through that book. The themes of privilege, racism, and entitlement hit very close but also made it a book that I could not put down. I wanted to know what was going to happen.
I had a similar issue with book outlet a few weeks ago. My problem was that I ordered a thick hardback and a paperback. Book outlet put them in a big box without any packing paper or blister. So during shipping, the hardback slid all around, crushing and slamming into the poor paperback. My paperback ended up damaged. However, it was dirt cheap and not a book I was super excited to have (I just threw it in since it was cheap and had been on my tbr), so it didn't bother me too much. But now I'm wondering how I should order books from them in the future (ie if I should try to keep hardback separate from paperback).
Dang I felt you about the book outlet Bcus Walmart just did the same thing to me. But it would have taken so long for a replacement I had to take the L. Smfh. These books to expensive for all that.
I've read Goblin by Josh Malerman but had to DNF it. About halfway through I just stopped caring. The story about the rich hunter dude was good but the others were ehhhh. Maybe I'm missing something by not finishing it? If I am, please let me know.

I loved Such a Fun Age! It has a little bit of everything-commentary on race relations in America, romance, humor. I thoroughly enjoyed that book!
