It was a crying shame that Let It Ride wasn't given the dues it deserved. It's a brilliant album. These Liquid Gold tunes are nice. The original Devil in Your Shoes is absolutely BELTING.
Maybe if they'd left off A Hole, Good Bye & Stand Up and Be Counted... awful songs by Sheds' own high standards.
@@MrStoofpotjeI think Stand Up and Be Counted is a great tune and very Sheds sounding. Agree with you on A Hole though and I'd include Drink Your Love
@@MrStoofpotje Stand Up and Be Counted isn't great. I've come to enjoy A Hole now and I actually think Goodbye is a great ending to the album. Horse. Courses!

Fully agree, the album was a diamond.I rushed after work to travel to Llandudno, from Stoke,to watch them on this tour.The most boring and uninterested crowd at a Shed Seven gig ever and Rick picked up on it,much to my amusement😂😂😂

I love this. Sincerely. Shed seven are my favourite indie band from the 90’s. I absolutely loved them soon as I heard them. Then soon as I heard chasing rainbows I just went and bought everything that was available by them. In my opinion though they were never pushed enough. That’s no fault of any of the guys. Maybe poor management. But such a talented band. Paul banks is by far one of the best and hardest working guitarists I’ve ever had the pleasure to listen to. He works hard when they’re live man he does about 3 men’s jobs. Rick. Well. Great singer. Great song writer. Great performer. I just love these and I think they should be a lot bigger than they are. But hey. It’s looking great for them this era. And rightfully so. Number one album recently and if you haven’t heard it. Go buy it. The sound quality of “ Another night Another Town” is fantastic. I can’t stop playing it. Brilliant. I also think they should do a ‘B’ sides album. Tracks like , you, misspent youth, etc are underrated brilliant band.
