Why I like your music is because despite so much hurt and pain, you continue to seek after an ideal of love that we are all capable of somehow knowing and even offering at times. I am very grateful for your willingness to offer what you feel and know about that form of love. The Spirit of Love has spoken to me through your struggles and songs in ways I thought may have passed me by. My life has been made more hopeful for it. Thank you for sharing your gift like this. Please take good care of your voice, both vocally and otherwise. I worry for that as you achieve more public recognition. Peace be with you, Lizzy. May you experience more joy and deeper love like we all deserve.
Lyrics: I hate you all the time I don't care if you're happy You fucked me up for life You don't get to be happy I sit with it most days While you probably don't think about me Sometimes i search your name That's not very therapy of me I want you to see me like you never did I want you to call and say "I'm sorry kid I take it all back and it wasn't your fault You did the best you could and that was enough" I need to hear it I need to know why it happened so I can let go I hated you a lot I would never have left you Driving 60 through Winnwood You were high as a kite I was scared for my life But i loved you I want you to see me like you never did I want you to call and say "I'm sorry kid I take it all back and it wasn't your fault You did the best you could and that was enough" I need to hear it I need to know why it happened so I can let go
Hey Lizzy thank you for sharing your beautiful heart. If anyone deserves to find her perfect love it’s you. I wish I were single and young, I’d be begging for your attention. Your music and lovely voice fills my life and heart. You really are doing the best you can kid and it’s not just good enough it’s amazing. Lizzy forever!
Hey! I think she used a different tuning :// But in standard tuning with capo on 4 you can get really close with 'C - G - F' and then for the second part it goes to an 'Am- F - C - G' Hope this helps cause it's such an amazing song!
It’s the same tuning as “doomsday” and “Emma” and the song she played in the live before this one…it’s open c# tuning, capo 3, the first chord is just the open strings, the second chord is just putting youre fingers on the 3 bass strings, on the 4th fret, and the last chord is the same shape just on the 5th fret.
I greatly enjoy your songs and that you will sing them without aids with just a guitar. I think that any real folk/pop/rock singer songwriter should be able to perform competently without digital tuning of their voices and multiple backup instruments. None of these enhancements are "wrong," that is not what I am saying. I am saying that artists should be good enough to perform without artificial aids. I was listening to a male singer who is quite popular online who sings a lot in high voice falsetto. I was impressed at how accurate his high note singing was until he put out of videos that did not digitally "tune" his vocals. Wow what a difference! He really was a mediocre singer. To compound this issue, he doesn't write any original songs, he just does covers of other people's songs. So his only claim to fame are his mediocre vocal talents. I find it amazing that this singer has something like a million subscribers because when he performs in public without digital tuning of his voice, he is grating to listen to. Everything about this singer is an embellished lie. There is a video of Jason Mraz playing in a coffee shop to a handful of fans and he does are really good job. This performance gained my admiration because nothing was there to help him. The acoustics were not great, I think he was recorded on a smartphone, he had no backup, there was no digital enhancements of his vocals, etc. It was just his guitar and him, naked, and he did a phenomenal job. You appear to be the real thing Lizzy, and you write your own songs. Great job!
"that's not very therapy of me" and i FELT that

You're impossible. Something about how you sing, and your countenance, is so soothing to me.
A new quality comes with introspection. Blessed Lizzy, takes us to new shores.

Lyrics:
I hate you all the time
I don't care if you're happy
You fucked me up for life
You don't get to be happy
I sit with it most days
While you probably don't think about me
Sometimes i search your name
That's not very therapy of me
I want you to see me like you never did
I want you to call and say "I'm sorry kid
I take it all back and it wasn't your fault
You did the best you could and that was enough"
I need to hear it I need to know
why it happened so I can let go
I hated you a lot
I would never have left you
Driving 60 through Winnwood
You were high as a kite
I was scared for my life
But i loved you
I want you to see me like you never did
I want you to call and say "I'm sorry kid
I take it all back and it wasn't your fault
You did the best you could and that was enough"
I need to hear it I need to know
why it happened so I can let go
how do people play guitar like this
I need this to be in the next album I can’t keep using data to watch this video over and over again :,)

@@Dyn_music thank you omg!!
If you tune your guitar to open d with a capo on the second fret its super easy :)

Is anyone selling a ticket for either London date? Name your price. Really gutted I couldn’t get one when they went on sale.
