How do you specify local and global variables for abstractions?

Good question. [float] and [int] objects are local inside abstraction instances. Use [send] and [receive] objects and/or 'send' messages to [float] and [int] objects to transmit variables globally in or out of abstractions and sub patches. See the [float] or [int] help for details.
