Hi Mark, yes that's a lovely looking car isn't it. I love the roads out there where are you there's no traffic, you could go crazy and do 200 km an hour 😅. By the way, you got a mansion on Ludacris feed with Tom and Riz , they also hinted you might do a live stream with them which would be great. Avatr 11: deliveries since Dec 2022 Avatr 12: deliveries since Dec 2023 Avatr 07: deliveries expected from Dec 2024 Both, Avatr 12 and 07 are available with normal or electrical rear mirrors. Your choice. Avatr 11 with electrical rear mirrors seems to be prepared, but is was never implemented nor sold. At the end, it's only about your preferences/taste. They are technically all very similar. All are ADS 3.0 vehicles, current benchmark in autonomous driving. Just, Avatr 12 is only recommended, if you are less than 1,85cm tall.
Can you get your hands on the BYD E2/E3 (same car just one is hatchback and E3 is sedan), i haven't seen a review of that car and it has been in production for quite a long time.

If China had factories in the US, that would force GM & Ford to get off their butts and start manufacturing EVs. GM nor Ford have a massed produced, US made EV on the market. The reclining seats in the Avatr are overkill, but it is a very nice EV and a worthy competitor to the Tesla.
Absolutely. A smart US, not one obsessed with losing their title as world's largest economy, would invite the Chinese to partner with their car makers and build EVs in the States. But they won't do that until it's too late I suspect.
Windowless rear, and electronic camera mirrors - these are my red lines crossed...🤷♂ Why it is problem - compared to natural view, the camera mirror cause more stress on the eye (due to frequency of the displayed view). Plus, these camera mirrors are quite ineffective - even dangerous - in dark conditions (and cause additional consumption of battery). Beside that, the car is looking really good. I like front "strip" panel.👈
I've not been a fan of digital rear view cameras because the depth perception isn't easy to adapt to compared to a real mirror. This one felt better somehow but not perfect. But the one thing they have generally been good at is showing a wide view that's actually better at night. This one did feel a little limiting on width but I don't remember if it was any good at night.
I've liked the look of this car since I first saw photos of it. The ear seats looks like they should be comfortable but, as with most EVs, they seem to have designed it like an ICE first vehicle, with compromised space for feet and seating. The rear (really all) seats should be higher as well as the roof, to compensate for having the battery in the floor. This is more a design for looks, first and figure our passenger comfort second, sort of vehicle. It's a great looking car for sure.
Agreed. Rear space is a bit crap. They will launch an EREV version of this at some point too so it's already a compromised EV. But it is stunning and I won't change my view on that.
Indeed it is, according to the brand. The first video I did of the one-one I called it AVATR eleven not knowing they call it one-one. Stupid naming process.
Tough choice. I mean I love sporty cars and the SU7 is definitely the sportier and more engaging of the two, but I love the 12 overall, the premium feel, the look (both at stunning), the GT feel. This one pulls at my heart strings so that's what I'd go for.

Thanks for the feedback. Others have mentioned the same thing. I ballsed up with this one because due to the rain I didn't get time to do my drone footage so ended up with only low angles. Will be improved in future.

In fact, the same old same. An endless line of deadly boring 4-door EV's/ Where are the 2 and 3 door sporty EV's ? the coupé's, the cabrio's ?

Thanks to European sanctions in Russia, they have long been Avatr, Li, Voyah, and so on! These cars are many times better than European ones and they are cheaper! That's why they are not allowed on the European market! Better in which field? Doing 750 cltc ->622km wltp so in real life like 500km on single motor and nearly 100kwh? There are far better european cars and more efficient ones also. Id7 pro does 550 real range km (tested by bjorn nyland) on 75kwh. The new vw drivetrain is a lot more efficient than these chinese cars. Because od some early software problems on the id3 everyone thinkg that europeans cant build evs.

They call it Slate Blue I think I said in the video. Definitely more green to me. That said, there is a new blue colour and I think this been has been discontinued so it's possible it relates to that one.

You can't always get the new cars when you want them, there's a whole enormous country full of influencers you have to get in line behind first. The new one isn't yet available for review but I'm pushing to get an early drive, but I really wanted to test this one.
No offence, but I'm not two feet tall, so those views of the car from that height is really kind of useless. I really get no good sense of what the car looks like. Could you please allow us to see it from eye level?

This design is not primarily for steering. It’s to rest your hands on and maximise view out of the windscreen whilst it self drives.
It's much more pleasant to use than you'd expect.
@@Zeek764 I dont hold the wheel that way I hold with 1 hand at around 11 and 9 o'clock
and when I park I like to use the top 12 o'clock to hold and cross-over/feed the wheel as I turn never ever the sides..

Who builds this? What a messy design, you only need a hawaiian doll on the dashboard. Thumbs down. Looks so cheap!!! As allways a big headache to service etc.
