For example in the last Portugal round the white outline outside the stop sign lud just didn't mention.
And he isnt even anywhere near a god is the scary part. Its the player who probably is the best in the lobby 90% of the time, but still is quite a few steps away from being on that super elite tier.
@@weeep4652 Marian is probably the best overall to me, especially in any type of royale games (just obliterated top division of competitive league that finished). If you are going to 25k skill though BOKSA probably takes it who just won the competitive league averaging over 24,500 per map over all nine weeks. Maybe throw in players like Mister Blue, Snorlax, Diesel, etc... but I think its Marian 100%, especially for these types of games.
@@e_eyster Speaking in general, don't rank people especially if you're not confident and don't know what you're saying. Speaking as a long time member of the pro geo community, you're completely wrong. Marian and Boksa are decentish players (maybe) but a lot of skepticism around their legitimacy. Mister Blue and Diesel I think are basically moving reddit players which is not very impressive. Moving GeoGuessr in general is a completely different game to no moving or nmpz geo. Moving is about getting a 5k as fast as possible which tests your knowledge of places and direction skills. No move and nmpz test your skills to recognize vegetation, metas, and slight differences in images consistently, which is much much more skillful. As for snorlax, well we finally busted him a couple weeks ago as he's been cheating for a very long time. RC is an amazing player who has been around for a long time. He would be ranked one of the best of all time for sure but he's died down these days but still an absolute legend. In their discord you'll find the best players in the world currently and plenty of resources to learn and explore the game. Now, I have seen rainbolt progress throughout the last year. I remember playing him now and then in the summer and fall of 2021. He started streaming in twitch in November maybe early December. I was his first follower if you exclude private friends unrelated to geo (I think). Currently the best player in the world by widespread pro opinion is Geostique. He speacializes in the map a diverse world where he's memorized thousands and thousands of the 50k total locations and he's probly seen almost all of them. Some other good players are boky, scrypero, blinky, adwSteve, and a whole bunch of others. Currently I'm planning to make a better Geoguessr world wide ranking for all those who wish to join, that will be cheat proof and score players overall on every single gamemode with weights on some. Everyone has their weaknesses in Geo and other stuff and unfortunately there will always be drama.
@@TBH_Inc i think they mean that ludwig describes it to one then goes to the other and describes it the same way and then puts whatever location they say on two different games
Both of them guessing Japan with Marina Bay Sands, easily one of the most famous buildings in Singapore, visible absolutely blew my mind. I guess that just goes to show that although Geoguessr is a game about knowledge of countries, there are effective methods to win that don’t require you to know those sorts of things. Sometimes it feels moreso like a game about pattern recognition than anything. And I don’t want people to think I’m saying that’s a bad thing. What some people are capable of in this game is VERY impressive. I just find it pretty interesting that they can be wildly talented without knowledge of something like a world famous building.
Yeah, tbh what percentage of rounds probably involve seeing an internationally famous building? I can't imagine it's many, compared to the amount of times that you'll just be placed on A Random Street in the middle of wherever. So knowledge of famous landmarks is almost certainly not going to get you as far in this game as knowledge of minutia like street signs and license plates.
@@thesugareater8607 Right, and that's what I'm kind of getting at.
