This is just so so beautiful . I love seeing all your perspectives in one video. This will be so special for Sophie one day. Congratulations and good luck to all of you x
This is so so so lovely, I love how it’s been put together and loved hearing Lisa and Marc talking about the experience, she’s so so so beautiful, the ending has me in tears! Xx
So so lovely that Lisa was able to do this! I wonder what sort of emotions she felt having grown a daughter and given birth to then hand her over to another family? It must be so so tough but very rewarding being able to give another couple a family of their own. I wish I was this strong 💕
I cover it a lot on my channel but I’ve never struggled. I do not find it hard at all. I know how much she is wanted and loved so it’s just amazing. Best experience handing them over.
My husband and I are getting ready to have our baby via surrogacy with my sister in law in just a few weeks. I follow channel mum and have really learned so much from this channel. Thanks for posting a video from a gay perspective! This video made me love you guys even more. I know this is a channel primarily for moms, but it is great to see that you value diversity. Cheers!
AW saw the story on Facebook congrats me and my wife adopted two and had our daughter 4 months ago nearly 5 months ago we have two daughters and son wouldn't change it
Every child deserves to have a loving mother and a loving father. Intentionally bringing children into the world and raising them without both a mother and a father - goes against nature and it is not fair to the child.
@HeyItsDanielle Great to hear your friends did well, but thats anecdotal evidence, not across the board. Studies show children usually do best in the long-term when they grow up in a traditional household.
p_convez I disagree. Two loving parents is a lot more than many kids had. Myself included until I had a step father come in at 8 years old. Most of the research that promotes traditional families was sponsored by religious organisations and isn’t recognised by scientific bodies. But you are entitled to feel the way you feel. However I assure you Sophie is very happy and very loved.
Babies bond with their mothers in utero and that instinctive relationship cannot be replaced by two men. The baby knows its mother's heartbeat, knows her voice, before even being born - that separation is cruel and surrogacy makes babies into a commodity.
p_convez that’s speculation. 🤷🏻♀️ having given birth to 3 babies for other people, 2 of which are genetically related to me, I can assure you that I held them a good few times and they were in no way more receptive to me than their parents.
Ever since I became pregnant I cannot stop watching these videos.

I really love that illuminated castle decoration near the baby's crib. I'd love to know how they did that.
