M8.. It's hard to hear you in this video. Looking up the datasheet will tell you what the IC is.. Also using a radio to tune into the transmitter will let us know if it works.... Just a blank in the fm radio tuning is an indication the transmitter works... Its all part of the fun. You said this was a second attempt... Personally I would try again.
I can't, I just realised I only ordered one transmitter. 😑 I'll try to fix this one but it might end up in the too hard basket especially if the cause of the issue is the IC. I'd be surprised if it was because usually I can get the soldered IC without issues. Still who knows whether or not it got damaged or not. Anyway I'll have another look tomorrow.
No, I'm just starting to teach myself about electronics. I think you need a Japanese radio. I think they have these lower "frequencies" that you are wanting. Anyway thank you for commenting on my channel.
