Gravastar player here. The best solution to the falling off problem i could think of was hiding the weapons bellow the vehicle and making it a facehugger. Enemies can't shoot the weapon while you facehug them, and they are usually to focused on your cabin to care for them. Been doing pretty well with this tactic. I think you should give it a try
Another gravastar enjoyer here. Hiding these guns is something you can go without. There will be a lot of situations where you really need to turn your weapon, which is a bit of a problem in "dog" builds. It also isn't necessary to hide guns because your playstyle is based around focusing one specific target. Gravastars do tons of damage so you won't worry about them breaking.
I dont let them heat up for that exact reason. Unless you can sneak up behind them. If you gotta go a long distance to get to your target with them red hot someone can easily snipe them off.

Jb trust me the tsunamis don't need a buff. They're tough and bc of their accuracy and dmg they're great for shooting off weapons, especially smaller, lower durability ones.
Those builds were fun to watch in action ! And just to say, maybe the hertz co-driver would have done a better job (you know, added sheild durability, faster chettah and favorite recharge) but phobos is still doing a good job on this gravastar build😁 Maybe next time you take a gravastar build like this in battle, rock that co-driver 😁 Keep up the good work, survivor 👍
Ya, I don't normally dogged keep shooting someone who has moved out of my immediate range. But you were bullying my teammate and was trying to save him. ;)
JB, there is a bug with the boosted cannon builds. The game isn't adding the damage up or rendering the damage accurately. My favorite is the cannon builds, not a fan of shotguns😂
I like the slaughter gamemode but its not fun to play cause not alot of people like it and so when one person leaves its kinda of a domino effect everyone starts leaving and so either you left alone or even the whole enemy team leaves, i dont see the turn off on that gamemode
So for me in normal pvp when you take care of the strongest or annoying enemy builds they are don but here they come back and i don't enjoy fighting the same firedog or machine gun hover over and over
Crossout has issues with too many things doing too much damage, and too many things with not enough durability lol. I think the game would benefit from guns, wheels, and modules not being able to to be instantly destroyed, and only temporarily disabled, with the option to repair those parts at least once per battle.
You loosing 20% damage while playing Tsunami without waiting 2s perk charging even at the start!!! but damage looks lower in this patch anyway. And why you using Grabastars +aegis with Phobos instead Herz on a car without any chamelion?
With Gravastar builds, you don't just slap them on top and call it good. You build a Gravastar build like you would with a flame build. Armor all around the sides, rear and over top of your Gravastars.

Don't forget JB Gravastars heating up means they take more damage. If they added durability, they'd have to nerf damage to balance em.

If you key the boost to the fire button it'll give the perk and shoot a perk shot, but it does limit the playstyle

Speedy! As for gravstars, you have to get the right fusion first, then you might play them, so almost never used.

You should have charged the tsunami perk also. For maximum damage
Have you ever considered harpy+miller? I don't know if harpy works on the perk shot explosions but I think it's worth trying.
i think the gravastars are balanced, have a tons of damage, to cost the durab. its totally glass canon

Noticeful 4 wheels Bigfoots more survival and better but perk bug out not accurate perk just 30%

Sit still for a couple seconds to have more damage worth tsunami
