The way Tsimikas approached and put in the winning penalty show that he is more excited than nervous to have the chance, as Klopp said a mental beast.

Diaz was soo unlucky , he could have 4-5 goals had the finishing been more decisive. Also , Liverpool should buy a left footed right winger in the summer since they lost that attacking spark once Mo Salah went off injured .
I don’t think he’s injured I think they subbed him as a precaution Incase a potential injury got worse and obviously there’s still a big ucl final to play

I think all the Liverpool & Chelsea players played very well. If any individual should be singled out, I think it has to be Jurgen Klopp. He and his staff deserve credits for the success so far.
My hero for LIverpool this season- yes, Luis Diaz has been brilliant- , but my man is Konate. Just quietly being dependable at the back with Virgil. What a signing. My favourite sub is Origi - please don't let him leave the club. And Simikas is my final pick- just a great player we Liverpool fans really rely on and he never lets us down. And goes and scores the winner!

Chelsea now has won 0 penalty shoot-outs won in major finals (not including Community Shield and Super Cups) against English opponents, especially in 2008 in the UCL Final in Moscow against Manchester United just short of their 10th anniversary of their maiden UCL win in Munich against Bayern Munich. Chelsea also became the third team to lose both domestic cup finals and unwantedly the first ever team to lose 3 FA Cup finals in a row. This penalty shoot-out is worthy of the 150th Anniversary of the FA Cup especially in this final except for the eventual scoreline. 2022 is the first year in English Football history that both major finals end 0-0 and both penalty shoot-outs went to beyond sudden death.
