Most underrated band I’ve ever heard. Heard this song on xm and fell in love. Lyrics are soo deep and you can just feel the emotions in his voice. You can tell he put all of his heart into this song.
Same here, also started exploring them a bit and found that they have some really good shit but, this let me down a bit, the singer doesn't pull off the high notes and sounds pretty bad while trying them
I’ve been listening to this since I heard it on Octane radio… now I’m obsessed and it is my absolute favorite song to sing in the car on full blast. You have amazing vocals bro!!
I can’t remember the song for song setlist. They opened with the color black and gates of ivory. Played all of Sleeptalk (out of order) as well as Vultures and Neon Grave.
IN ORDER: The Embers Glow, The Color Black, Gates Of Ivory, Starving To Be Empty, Burial Plot, Crooked Soul, Crash & Burn, Vultures, Neon Grave, Already Numb, Drunk, Sleeptalk
@@judgepage6605 there's other footage in a smaller club where he has the mic completely away from his face and you still hear the last line of the chorus clear as day and loud and it's not coming from anyone on stage. It's the backing track playing in the background so he has something to harmonize to.
@@Sixbucks_on_pump3 idk.. at the very least I know he's capable of doing it damn near perfect live(though I haven't seen this particular song) I've seen them full band and rory acoustic before and dude is a beast
A lot of his songs are about his dad. I hope he finds peace in his heart.
I agree, he tears himself apart for things that are out of his control, I feel so bad for him :(
His future songs about his daughter will be touching I just know it
This is absolutely filthy. He has some of the best vocals in the game.
Couldn't agree more. They all deserve more recognition

I was NOT expecting them to sound that good holy shit !
Got exposed to this song a few days ago, had to check out a live. Really impressed by the band as a unit. They're super good live!

@@alexpavljasevic9776 He can def hit it, just prob cause its live, it wouldn't sound as good as the studio version, but still really impressive
@@no_one563 indeed. Not an easy task to do every night as a touring band. They'll grow stronger next tour!
Awesome video thanks for posting. Looks like a great audience and venue. Dayseeker has a awesome sound and one of my new favorite bands.

What was their setlist?!
From what I what read it was "Sleeptalk" played in order with the encore being Vultures and Neon Grave!

@@tommichaelis5692that the set list I want to experience 😭
I wish there wasn't a backing track during the chorus 🙄🙄
There's really not. It may be slightly there but that's mostly the guitarist singing it with him
Pretty key moments where you can tell rory is singing it a slightly different rhythm than the track and you can't hear his voice behind him so

@@Sixbucks_on_pump3 yeah just seen your other comment.. it's literally from the same show. Not a smaller venue it's literally the same performance
Great song, good performance! They just need a sound engineer 🤷🏽♂️
Sound was great at this venue. Hard to judge from an iPhone vid
You just need to see them in person
