Master CJ! Ok - five things to say: 1. The "Gesundheit" almost f**** killed me 2. Again: Killer flow and editing, love your style, gets better every video imo 3. Tom-Sound is outstanding 4. Very good teaching here and nice on-point content 5. All the best for 2021 - keep up your great work! I love watching your videos: always entertaining, always interesting and most important: always you and real! Stay safe and tuned! Greets from germany! Jochen 🙋🏻♂️

You should definitely start a website where you can actually get PAID for lessons! You're an awesome teacher CJ, and you're funny too which is always a plus. Hope you're doing good, bro!💪💯
Thank you so much for the kind words, friend! I appreciate that! I am actually planning a website with even more in depth lessons. I want to build my audience a bit more first, then it's ready to go! Stay awesome!!
Yeah I love the versatility of the left flam triplet. I got inspired by Gavin Harrison who uses it a lot in his fills, and I've never stopped using them. They work in any genre Thank you kindly for watching!!
First heard you couple of months ago (utube notification), became familiar with your shorts. Just now learned your CJ. Became big fan of your playing. My favorite thing you do is all the embellishments you play on the specialty cymbals (splash/stack)while riding on the hats. Ironically, these 16th/32nd note patterns have nothing to do with whatever fill your explaining. Your just throwing them in.An example could be the cowbell groove on your shorts channel. Amazing pattern. I'm now using that as a fill on toms. Sounds like a fill and a beat at same time. Very Genisis/Phil Collins type thing. Got it from you. Also, just learned Tool "Eulogy " beat. Got it from you. You are fantastic player/teacher. Thank you for the videos.
Thank you so much, Glenn! It really makes me happy that you find my content enjoyable and useful :D More video-lessons are on the way and I hope you'll like them. Thanks for watching, bud!
Dude! I just SUBSCRIBED because these are exactly the same 3 that I use the most. I always tried to play the "left hand flam triplet" as a "Swiss Army Triplet" because I didn't think it was legit, even though it's much easier to play.
Very cool rudiments, you're a good drummer, and I'm going to try out some of your stuff. I'm just concerned about the splintering on your drumsticks . not to be critical but if one of those splinters broke loose and hit you in the eye my friend it could be very bad. I'm sorry but I'm all about safety and I've had drumsticks to break where they were splintered and not realizing it until the next beat the splintered stick went right through my drum head on my snare drum . No I'm not I know it all LOL but I teach like when a stick becomes splintered to throw it away and replace with a new pair. Again I am not criticizing you my friend , but I suppose my background in safety makes me more aware of possible dangerous situations. You're a good drummer and thank you very much for your video.
Thanks for the kind words bud! Drum stick hitting me in the eye has literally never happened, but I promise - I’m always careful 😉 Thanks for the well wishing thought though! I appreciate it 🙌

That blushda fill was AWESOME! It has this weird "dragging" feel to it with a lot of body!
Looking forward to what rudiments will be next! 🔥
I love using it! It fits every genre basically and I'm so thankful for watching Tony Williams playing this💪
thanks for watching, Vincent!!
Except for blending the rudiments; that left flam triplet is probably my favorite!
Sounds great CJ, you rock🤟
