I think our parties should look into their rules and regulations concerning primary election participants. Anyone who contests any party’s primary cannot be allowed to go independent after he/ she’s defeated in the primary. All candidates in any party’s primary should be made to sign an undertaking to stay with the party and help the party’s candidate and not run as an independent.
