Thanks for the video. I had to replace the drive pully tension spring and your video was the only one that gave me an idea of where it was and how it was attached. thanks again.
I used your advice on releasing tension for replacing the blade pulleys. However, now 2 months later, I'm replacing the belt. Thanks for the video bro. I have the 48" Ultra Deck, 2009-2010 model. Same basic concept regardless of model.
Nice video. Just replaced Series S drive belt last week. Wish I had your video but figured it out. My unit is 2015, didn’t require any tools to loosen blade belt then put it back on at end. Thanks.
My extension spring broke and I needed to replace. Tried pulling back the deck idler with a ratchet strap but no can do. You gave me the visual and the idea to use the 1/2 ratchet bar with the cheater. Excellent idea! you're right - most dealers are useless. Thanks for the Vid bro!
Good camera work , not just showing your face , my deck is a triton 60 inch l need to know how to release the spring and put it back on . But good video
I'd suggest using a large screwdriver as a lever to apply force to the pump belt tensioner. That was easy. I couldn't figure out how to get tension off the deck belt tensioner while at the back of the mower putting it on the pulley.
My mower is a 2011 Exmark Lazer ZX 60"Ultracut (LZX29KA606SS) s/n 965nnn - looks and sounds like your's is identical - what is the part number your purchased? I've been searching and have been unable to find it on this rainy Saturday evening. :-)
Larry Reeder I'm sorry but I have no clue on the part number. If you want to look it up, google search my mower deck drive belt. Should help you find it there
Thanks anyway @BlakeAndrews... my local lawncare center had the belts. If this can help to anyone the numbers are: Mower model: LZX29KA606SS Drive belt: 109-3388 ~$25 Mowing deck belt: 109-8073 ~$120
It did help.....thanks. But your video is mislabeled.....you're NOT changing the deck drive belt....you're changing the drive belt for the engine to hydro pump.

Hey man your video really helped me out today!! Thanks Chuck Richards
Thank you so much! My drive belt actually broke today so I'll be replacing both of those belts. This will help a ton!
The Jerry rig ratchet strap breaker bar was exactly what I was looking for.
If that strap breaks, the bar will break your arm easy.
Thanks man, been using Exmarks for decades but first time to have to do the belts on a new series model.
Thanks Blake for posting, I had to replace my deck belt today and the rigged up breaker bar was a great help.
Run a maintenance garage for the city I live in . This helped me out tremendously!! Thanks man.
Thanks for the video. It’s the only one I could find on installing a new drive belt.
No tools, no sweat....great 😁
Thanks sir this really helps me out on my project
THANK YOU!!!! Unreal that there isn't any more videos on this! You're a hero!
Thank you for this. I literallly fixed my belt in less than 5 mins with no tools. Very informative.
Genius. Your 1/2' ratchet in tension pulley worked perfectly. Super helpful

I couldn't find any help on my commercial Snapper either, this is pretty close, Thanks for your time and trouble.
Thanks. Great tutorial. Knowing how to release the tension was what I needed.
Thanks a lot. Did you have any issues with the belt cutting your line. My belt vibrates a lot and rub into the line.
Great job, thank you for taking the time to make the video. Have a blessed day!!!👍😎
Thank You for posting this! I couldn't have did it without the video. Great Job

Nicely done. Thanks!

Put on back first. Then pull tensioner with hand. It’s not hard
Very fucking nice!!!! Thanks
You are very welcome Brittney! Anything for you!
What was the length of the belt? I bought a part # 4L670 from local auto parts and seemed to short
Thank you so much man.

You are close on the year mine is 2010 and it looks exactly like mine.

Great!! You're welcome!
Are you related to Harmless Farmer?
No need to jack the back end up. Then not use the jack stand that you recommended using.
Dude thanks
Hey you live close to me I heard 102.1 in the back ground lol
thanks
Does anyone know how to tell what year an Exmark Lazer Z is? I have an e series.
There should be an alum Id plate on the rear or front of mower. Mine begins with an LZZ ...
Thanks. Which numbers in the model number corelate to the year?
@@vsujones if you have the model # and serial # you can call eXmark and they will tell you what year it was made. That's what I did.
Thank you
