I think watching this series itself a lesson of humanity... I assume you are doctor so you can relate much more but also to other audiences it just connects so well and gets emotionally invested and connected to characters

I'm a grown ass 33 yo woman lol and for a person who hardly ever cries while watching films or shows - this series made me tear up many times, actually since the very first episode and especially S3E20, OMG that was huge! What's funny, I'm almost at the same stage with the series as you cause I'm going to watch the 15th episode of the fourth series. Four seasons watched within 2,5 weeks - I've broken my own record of binge watching lol! Looking forward to the 5th season, too! Cheers from Poland ;)

He is 20 years old now, one very important thing, from small never lie to him and he never lies he is very straight forward. He also got a sense of humor. Shawn you playing the role is outstanding. It is so weird hearing Shaun and Claire talking with British accents! Goes to show how much we get into their characters and their talent at adopting an American accent! Amazing show. My partners son is on the Spectrum and Freddie does his role so well. He does an amazing job of presenting the challenges someone with Autism can have.

Freddie is an under-rated actor & producer than he given credit for by the critics. He deserves to be recognized for his many awesome talents by nominations and winning more Oscars. He also could win the People Choice award for best actor. I think in the Good Doctor, which has an awesome cast, Freddie brings out the best for people that work with him. Keep up the great work Freddie.

First of all, Freddie Highmore is incredible at the facial expressions, the avoiding eye contact and everything else that comes with being on the autism spectrum. He absolutely nailed everything to a T and there is nobody else who could play that role better than him, the character Shaun was made for Freddie. Second, the show itself and because of Shaun and many of the other characters and the actor’s talents makes you remind yourself that there is humanity in the world, I have been on an emotional rollercoaster watching this series. In the pilot episode I cried twice!! I have watched many shows and some pilot episodes are slow burners, others you get hooked quickly but never has a show provoked that kind of emotional response from me before♥️ the best series out there that exists by far!
I grew up watching Freddie Highmore and I absolutely love him, it started out with Finding Neverland and then with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory both alongside Johnny Depp. Then he plays a psychopath in a show called Bates Motel and he excelled in that too, he plays a psychopath extremely well and then The Good Doctor 😮
He is definitely an underrated actor and is incredible in this industry, one of the best British actors by far I have ever seen.
As a human being aside from the acting Freddie is just so kind and thoughtful and really respectful and friendly but also highly intelligent, honestly he’s an idol and an inspiration to me, I can’t wait to see him excel even further, he deserves awards and praise and recognition a lot more than what he has!
Won't lie, he's really good at mimicking what ASD professionals think how autistic people behave.
My absolute fav show. The way Freddie is so adept at making the facial expressions and affixed eyes of a person with Autism is incredible. Also how he speaks is also incredible. He is such a great actor. Love all the cases too.

He seems to be an outstanding student and I read his bio and saw he got straight A's in his subjects which included various languages like Spanish, Latin etc., apart from the sciences.

I really loved Freddie Highmore since the day he starred in Spiderwick Chronicles. Until today, still watching that movie. He is perfect for his role. Sad to know that Dr. Milendez gone.

I felt the chemistry between Dr Brown and Dr Melendez right from the start. I'm really in love with Dr Melendez❣, and bouy, I cried my heart out when he died😭😭(when he did I even lost interest in the remaining parts). So sad that they never never got to show us more of their love. 💔
About the setup, storyline, actors and everything in between.... this series is worthy an Oscar award!❤❤

I have just discovered 'The Good Doctor' what a sensitive, entertaining and informative series! All the cast are brilliant especially Freddie, bringing autism to the fore and showing what amazing people can suffer from this disability.

Such a significant loss to the show ,I loved his role and relationships with other cast members and all he brought to the show .I was shocked at the decision that was made to end his character He was in his prime and had so much some more to offer in developing his character. further .It will just not be the same without him .

That was truly a wonderful and insightful and refreshingly real interview. Thanks! Freddie is undoubtedly an incredibly talented actor and intelligent human - second to none. It's also very clear at least to me his character would not be what it is without the brilliance of all of his co-stars. In fact, I think one of the reasons thst this works so well and his character is so impactful and dramatic is because, usually it does not need gross exaggeration for dramatic effect. I think that's largely because all of the other characters are also so genuine, relateable, neurotypical and typically diverse.
after all the dedication and excitement Nicholas exhibited for his character, this is what they do to him in the 3rd season, you can say how much he was looking forward to the development of his part. They just had to kill him off for no reason

I feel like in a medical show that's necessary. I know this comment was meant to be a joke, but if the doctors sent away half their patients saying, "You have a tummy ache bye" the show wouldn't be nearly as entertaining.

The feeling is mutual. From the vet first season, I wanted him to date Dr. Claire Browne. It hurt me to the bones only to express their feelings for one another during his last hours.

I think this a truely great show and don’t get to sleep much as I have to see the next episode. The acting is so good…..each one playing their part so well. The relationship between Shaun and Dr Glassman is so full of the patience and understanding I imagine is necessary. But I must say the writers are just excellent and make this show just the best. To all involved my thanks for a wonderful series.
All the characters in the Good Doctor series are all great actors
I pray and hope that one day Freddie Highmore receives an Emmy and Oscar for The Good Doctor. He played his role amazingly. It's not only him that did a great job, but also the other cast members. It still sucks that May 21st, 2024 was the last episode and the season of The Good Doctor has ended. But it had to.

Thank you for this awesome show. I watched the last episode of the Good Doctor last night. I was still under the influence of it when I came across this show. I think this is a great show. I'm happy the writers discuss medical issues that happen in real-life events. Having the main characters have a disability is genius.

I think Freddie Highmore is the most brilliant actor today. He already has a list of great achievements, and he’s crushing this one. It takes an incredible amount of intelligence to act as an autistic person, but more so to be someone who is near genius in medicine. Not many can ever do this authentically.
Love Glassy the grouch, all the characters are wonderfully acted and bring it all together but I take a bow for Shaun his role is absolutely fantastic. In life and particularly the workplace there are lots of issues we have to work through and everyone has their own role to play with strengths and weaknesses. Brilliant show!!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
