SCS On The Road - Western Star 49X Walk-around

In this episode of the SCS On The Road series, we head to Cleveland, North Carolina, to check out the Western Star 49X at the Daimler Truck North America Cleveland Truck Manufacturing Plant. We met up with Alex Martin-Banzer, who took us on a product walk-around of their truck which you can also find in our American Truck Simulator!

It seems that SCS Software and Western Star are very connected. I feel like we're going to have an amazing Tuning DLC for Western Star.

The hell are you talking about, the 389 we have in game IS a Split Window! The new truck is called 589 and has nothing to do with the 389, SCS is working on a rework of the 389 and the 589 will be it's own truck.

Daimler things, steering wheel - cluster meter design - even the engine base from mercedes, same as freightliner who included in Daimler

Only difference between most of them are body lines. Pete and KW are using the same cab now. Macks are just Volvo's with a different cab and rear ends, everything else is Volvo. Westernstar is just a Freightliner with a different hood.
