A few years ago I remember playing a game with a puzzle like this one and I also remember solving it but now I just can't and I don't know why! Ah, it's so annoying 😂🤦. I am ok with being stupid the rest of the game but I really thought I could do this one 😂😭🤦😂😂

@@nataliemusilova1755 The common name for this style of puzzle is an 8 puzzle, it's entirely unintuitive and it's not one even bots can solve easily. AI algorithms just use trial and error so don't feel bad, it's just a bad puzzle to put in a game where puzzles are all of your own merit

And the last part - I am like always slowly checking what is in the scene. When suddenly some halucination. I'm like "WTF is happening?" and when I saw that creepy guy I kinda freaked out :D not being able to play anymore... Gotta say you can't make it on your touchpad. So I connected mouse and made it all with "Oh sh*t, noooooo" screaming while playing. :D

for some reason my heart was POUNDING when I was doing the last scene. The ominous music just amps up the intensity factor. I'm not ashamed to say I can't play this game in my bed with the lights out. NOOOPE

I’ve played this one and completed it alone without watching the walkthrough. It took me two hours, but I made it. It’s a great feeling to achieve something like this. I thought I was too dumb to do that 😂

i couldn't solve it at all.
Now that you mentioned it, I went back to the video to see what the cigar was for. Oh! I didn't use the cigar. I just flipped the page back and forth and looked at the matching positions.

@that’s a shitty name It’s in the 1st chapter. I didn’t find the first paper but I thought the symbols and the lady painting must be somehow connected. The II paper showing burning hand and I did put the cigar in the corpse hand haha then I realized...wait a minute...the hand...and the face look like the lady painting...then BINGO! For the 1st paper, I guess it must be the black cube and I was right!

Absolutely f***ing loved every single second playing games from this series, even though I had to help myself with walkthrough here and there. Now that I finished them it's time to feel emptiness in my soul.
The sliding puzzle was a bit obnoxious and the race against evil forces was tought, but got them done in the end. :)

I relate to this so much I’ve been playing these since I was like 12 and I’m 19 now lmao and no one else I know even knows about these games but they were legit my childhood and I felt so empty finishing them :(( I’m replaying them now for nastalgia but it’s cool to see so many people enjoying the same thing as u !!

I'm grateful for everyone that warned about the last chapter. I would have not been able to get through it if I hadn't been warned about the timer and how fast it goes scary!

okay, I would like to ask you a question because I am at that part and I did not know there was a timer, as of right now, the timer is started for me but I saved shut off the game completely, I know this was 4 years ago, but what happens if you don’t get it in time, and how far does it set you back if you run out of time ?
@@misnomerrr it's been a while since I've played it, so I don't quite recall. However, I think that it sets you back to either the beginning of that last section or to just before the timer if you don't get it in time.

Man that last time challenge was intense but so much fun. I've loved every second of rusty lakes games and it's just unbelievable to me that these games are free and on mobile.

Literally playing one of the rusty lake games without help feels like a true achievement. The first time I downloaded a rusty lake game was when I had to go to my dad house and I knew I would not have WiFi at all so I went to download offline games that’s when I came across samsaras room. When I had first opened the game I was like this is actually really cool and definitely different. I had completed the game without help and soon after got more of the rusty lake games. What had shocked me was the Arles considering it surrounded my favorite artist I absolutely love these games ☺️
Love the game and it's style. Thanks for the walkthrough. Only have to wonder: Have you NEVER made coffee? Or is it too early in the morning. Filter first, and yes, you need to pour water in the coffee maker, not keep it in the pot :D

Turn right.
Open the curtains.

Click on the right-hand side of the couch cushions.
Collect the paper.
Click on the beetle until it's off-screen.
Zoom in on the bird picture.
Click on the bottom left corner.
Zoom out.
Turn right.
Zoom in on the cactus plant.
Click the hiding label.
Collect the label.
Zoom out.
Click on the painting.
Collect the plaque.

Click on the babushka doll.
Click and open all the dolls.
Drag the rose into the largest doll.

Click on the bottom left puzzle.
Rotate the tiles to complete the picture.
Zoom out.
Click on the right puzzle.
Complete the sliding puzzle to make the scene. I suggest watching the video for this part.
Once complete, zoom out.
Click on the middle picture.
Click on the black cube the woman's holding.
Click again to collect it.
Zoom out.
Turn right.
Click on the bottom half of the statue.
Collect the yellow bird's eye.
Memorize the first face.
Zoom out and click on the top half of the statue.
Click the forehead, eyes and nose, and mouth until you get the first face.
Collect the eye.
Go back to the bottom half and memorize the second.
Go to the top half and make the second face.
Put the eye you collected over the stone head pieces’.
Collect the gem.
Go back and memorize the third face.
Make the final face.
Put the gem over the stone engravement.
Click the tongue and collect the shell.
Zoom out and turn right twice.
Click the bottom left segment.
In the bottom left corner, click the rings until the line up with the center piece.
Click the center.
Collect the key.
Use the key to open the lock.
Put the eye in the skull.
Click the skull.
Collect the key.
Click to open the drawer next to the skull.
Zoom out.
Click on the bottom right segment.
In the bottom left segment again line up the lines.
Click to open and collect the piece of paper.
Put the shell in the outline.
Click to open and collect the oil can.
Zoom out.
Click the top segment.
In the bottom right hand corner, make it so that there is a circle with a horizontal line.
Flip the horizontal line to make it vertical.
Click the rightmost crescent.
Collect the piece.
In the top right hand corner, make it so the circles are facing inwards.
Click the center.
Collect the ink.
Use the key to open the lock.
Click to remove the lid.
Use the ink on the jar.
Click to clear it.
Collect the heart.
Remember the line placement in the bottom left corner.
Zoom out.
Click on the bottom left segment again.
Line up the switches in the order they were above.
Zoom out.
Click on the top segment.
Click on the line corner.
Collect the piece.
Zoom out.
Click the bottom left segment.
Place the heart in the outline.
Click to open and collect the scissors.
Zoom out.
Turn right twice.
Click on the bottom half of the statue.
Look at and memorize the code.

Click to open and collect the last piece.
Put all the pieces in the drawer below.
Click to open and collect the candle.
Turn left.
Put the black cube in the center box.
Click until the wall is fully cracked.
Click to make pieces fall out. (Follow the black fuzzy dot)
Use the candle to light the torches.
Look at the directions on top of the doorway.
Use the oil to flare the fires, following the directions.
Click the boat.
Click on the man.
Use the scissors to unstitch his mouth.
Click on him again until he turns into a crow.
Zoom out.
Click on the boat.
CHAPTER 4
Collect the cog on top of the cabinets.
Open both drawers and collect the cogs inside.
Click on the lines.
Turn right.
Collect the cog.
Click on the line.
Click on the pipes.
Line the pipes up.
Zoom out.
Turn right.
Collect the cog.
Click on the line.
Open the drawers.
Collect the crowbar and cog.
Click on Harvey`s box and collect the matches.
Click on the cog panel.
Add in all the cogs so they run.
Zoom out.
Turn right twice.
Use the crowbar to pry away the boards.
Use the matches in the small black opening next to the boars you just pried away.
Click on the bottom of the opening you pried open.
Click to open the elevator door.
Click to go inside.

I hope I wasn't the only one that said to my laptop the word "fate" and then started typing it because I didn't know I must put the answers on the crossword instead of writing them down on paper . Thankful for this walkthrough that didn't let me embarass myself further

I dont know if anybody can notice the conversation at phone call at 06:00 is the same as the one in the mill chapter. This time we are playing as detective but in the mill we were playing as killer. I think it is pretty smart. Ty rusty lake for creating such an amazing game and scenario.

The puzzle where you have to move the squares to make the picture is the worst moment I’ve ever had in all of gaming. These games are really good, but it’s that kind of shit that almost makes them not worth playing. A puzzle game should be hard enough to where puzzles are fun but not so hard that you need to watch a walkthrough to be able to progress.
Slide puzzles aren't difficult. Its not the game's fault that you're not good at them. That's like blaming Dark Souls for you dying. It's your own skill.
@@lavone5541 I was thinking the same. I used to do them when I was a kid. So it was no problem to me. Just get used with the logic of the puzzle

The code at 5:30 confused me until I realized specific parts of the painting needed to be burned with a cigar. I thought 1 and 4 would be switched without the painting.

Jesus when i did the last part i didnt watch the walkthrough. I didn't know it was time limited. After watching the walkthrough, i did the 2nd attenpt. Omg i almost forgot what to do and the music is so terrifying that my heart started pumping even before the deer appeared. But thank goodness that i did it for some reason. Omg rn my heart are still pumping really hard. But in the other hand, ur game is one of the best and i can't stop playing it :)

I had a few panic attacks in the last level, failed about 4 times, but I managed to finish it in the 5th try =D

I don't know if that was good or bad luck .. I tried to use 1487 from seasons it didn't work so I said it may have been 78 and when I am exchanging numbers it was 14 "21" and I went to the second chapter without finishing about half of the first xD xD thanks for the series I can't wait to know more about the case :) :)

The game is heavily inspired by twin peaks. We have a blonde dead woman named Laura, a brunette detective named Dale. Doesn't get any more obvious. Given all that, the phone voice was the first thing to really make it click though

The first case I solved randomly, I remember when I played before one of the rusty lake games and code was 1422 and 1478 or 1487, I tried all of them and before I tried 1422, obviously I had to go for 1421 and safe got opened, I just came here to see did I got lucky and it looks like 😃

This dark and mysterious atmosphere reminds me a lot of Twin Peaks, the Lynch series. Especially the momemt with the phone and crossword. The type of statement on the phone is reminiscent of the scene in the room with red curtains and black and white floors. Where Cooper talk to Laura and the little man.

The last part is the scariest part in any of the cube escape games, got through it, even if it took a few attempts. Also the sliding block puzzle is the worst

WHY CANT I FIND THE SPIDER
Replaying though the Cube Escape Collection to get all of the achievements and it's been a good while since I last played them all. Completely forgot how this one end, until I was there and heard the music count down. My husband just hears me saying over and over "Oh f**k. Oh f**k. I'm gonna die." as my skin gets covered in goose bumps. Love these games.

hey there, you prolly won't see this. it's 2020 here, almost 2021... I'm ready for the 'who's here in 2021' comments but I started playing these games non stop after yesterday night lmao. I'm such an escape room freak and these were the typed of escape rooms I like. challenging, but quick yo complete. I finished 5 already but tbh I have a messed up sleeping schedule, these walkthroughs are really helpful too. tysm, pls continue to create i also love the creepiness to it!
The first thing I did in chapter 2 was randomly guess the channel number for the sake of playing with the buttons and I actually got it right the first time 😂 (based on the pattern I've seen with 3 digit numbers I've seen throughout the rusty lake games)
I really love the twin peaks references throughout each of these games
IMPORTANT: I think it's necessary to change the code of the green safe in the Part 1, because when I first started playing I saw it and thought that maybe a code from the earlier games would work, (like in Cube Escape: The Lake) but being that one of the codes in The Lake and the one in this game is only different in the last number, I ended up opening the safe, getting the evidence and skipping the whole Part 1.
I still loved the game though.

Thanks for the guide it did help. Not with the timed enging tho lol. I gave up on it after a few tries. The most annoying part if it was not being able to click on stuff. Playing games like this on smartphone is a pain. But it was fun anyway
