This is a very enjoyable project to code-along! However for 2023 it should be in Kotlin, Compose. Dagger/Hilt and using Room Database instead of raw SQLITE. That would make this so much easier. As I am am coding along, I am doing it with the modern tools and it is so much easier (so far, anyway, up to the first hour).

When i click on book button the screen gets blank for 2 seconds then comes to home activity . There is no error message shown in code . The ID's are remaining same when you copy the xml files. So make sure that all the ID's should be different
