Isn't it funny that failures and issues started just after the warranty.
mine is getting the same issue.... it appears to be the clear coat coming off the band.. combination of sweat and uv rays... trying to find parts at reasonable price as its my main daily watch.. i actually use the wave chart for surfing in hawaii and the sunrise times for hikes and the depth meter for free diving.

The first time I saw this watch on your channel review I fell in love with it. Subscribed to your channel, watched most of your G-shock review while you're wearing this gulfmaster.. ended up I bought a ticket and flew to Japan just to buy this watch. I casually wear this watch during special occasion ot event. despite being a G shock, its does not look bulky or out of place. Looks like those premium watch makers. Also the sapphire coated glass is a godsend. Hope mine doesn't run into trouble in the coming future. love the watch.

If its brand new then go for it. Make sure the digital display still in good condition and all the sensors works.

The white spots appear on resin if the watch has been exposed to sun screen or chemicals.

That's roughly around retail, try to look something lower than that if possible. 7-8 hundreds range would be good enough.
I have seen them go for around $400-500 range in ebay

Has anybody figured out what that white residue is? I'm getting something similar forming on my gwf-1000 frogman. I wonder if it is from soap or something, since I wear this watch as my work beater watch and I work in a kitchen so it's always getting dirty and going under water. The thing is, before I got this watch I was wearing the gw-9400 rangeman to work every day for months and that watch never got the white residue on it. So I'm not really sure what's going on.
How bright is the light in this watch
I don't have any measurements tools for that. I'd say, it is bright enough to charge its own lume.

The compass works fine for me. Everything is very accurate and reliable so far.
The compass pointing in the wrong direction, the hands wont return to the correct position after sensor mode and now this. Some people, but not many experiencing same like this one.

Sore to see those kind of lcd. There is nothing much u can do to it rather than replacing pcb.
I'll give it a shot first. Locate the issue and look for parts on my own just in case it is more affordable. 😅
