Awww, thanks Chris! You're the only other person I've seen put Piggies on polymer clay. We're from the same tribe. ;)

Hey Raina! Beautiful Luna Moths! Hopefully helpful tips: water makes a great polymer clay resist - lightly spritz the surface of your cutter. And tongue depressors/craft sticks make great depth gauges to roll out an even slab of clay (stack together as many as needed) - place tongue depressors on each side of your clay and roll.

Great tips! Thank you for that! I had no idea about the water, so I will definitely try that next time. Obviously I was getting really frustrated with the tips of the wings! I thought about the tongue depressors too late - I have a ton because I use them to stir resin. I'll glue a few together next time I make earrings thicker than my pasta machine can make!

@@PaintedRaina Oh, and lightly blot off the water & make sure your clay is dry before adding the mica powders.

Hi Kim! Thanks! Yeah, life got really hard to manage there for awhile and my time to edit videos got sucked into the black hole. And you're right - I forgot my wine! Silly me; next time!

Happy you are back. I was missing with you. Don’t you hate it when life gets in your way?
Love your Moth but my ears need the smaller one. Classy use of the pasta machine, mine is in it’s box. It takes me 10 minutes to make pasta by hand. It takes longer to wash that machine so it is not my friend yet.
I have never used clay, possibly because I can’t stand touching it with my hands. Along with baby powder or any kind of lotion or moisturizer and now I want to. I can convince husband to do the hands bit. I used to have a fluffy puff thing with a long plastic handle. Put baby powder in the back, put the lid on and powder baby. There is always a way around anything.
I don’t have any problem with paint. Someone told me I was Autistic, touch, taste and texture are a sign. I was insulted because Autism runs in families. We have Aspergers in ours and they are fabulous, high functioning, huge brain power. They all get married, have families and earn a lot of money. I always felt left out but if I want a computer built with 3 screens that will never run out of space. I know who to call.
    I love your earrings. ❤️

Hi Karen, thanks! I missed being here.
I should make the smaller ones - not everyone loves Godzilla-sized earrings like I do! And as for the pasta machine - I bought it for clay. I've never made pasta. Ha!
Aspergers runs in my family too - my brother has it and he does well in life. I think they just call it autism now, 'on the spectrum.' There's no shame in neurodivergence, I say! I'm a proud ADHD warrior myself. And building computers is a great talent! I lose patience so fast with that, even though I'm fairly techy.

Well, I can't get that translated, but I'll assume it's a good thing from the emoji. Thanks!
