Being a F2P player, with limited resources, I made a huge mistake early on in my gameplay, because i got a candor essence, and applied it to a rune, that DIDN'T have 6 slots. It had like 2. And you know....F2P, and you get a rare essence, you want to use it as soon as you can. And there were not many videos online that spoke like you did, to give the proper advice. So i ended up with a Rune that had candors galore....but only on the two existing sides. Have to find a way to fix that eventually. Great video mate. Really learning a lot from your stuff.
6:05 Still confused about the Rune Candor Revitalization. What exactly does it mean that "it will reset the rune to its maximum candor?" Does it mean that if I have a rune with a 5 candors link, I can use a Rune Candor Revitalization and "imprint" the highest candor link on it? And then if the next Rune Candor Essence upgrade fails, I can now use the Revitalization to restore that link to 5 again? Really confused about this and unfortunately the game's own information doesn't make it any clearer.
Yes it's sort of like that except you don't use it to "imprint". That part happens automatically. So if you get to 5 and want to try to get higher and only get 4 you can use it to restore back to 5, the rune itself will keep a copy of its highest candor level and using it will return to that highest value

Each time you use a Rune Candor Essence successfully, any one random link will either turn white, or one that is already white will get +1. If you fail, it either might revert 1 point or it will "break" and you'll be unable to modify the links any further. If it "breaks", the only way to further modify the rune is to recolor the sockets so that all Rune Candors are essentially erased, and then start the process over. You cannot even use Revitalization on a rune that has "broken." So the use of Revitalization is there to protect you from the cases where you might get -1 on a link, to restore its previously highest value. Am I getting this right? But you did say in the video that Revitalization will remember all links and that all links will be restored, yet on the Revitalization item it says only the highest will be remembered. This part is also confusing. Does this mean that it remembers ALL links and the highest values in TOTAL? Sorry about the long post.
Hi very informative video. Just to confirm, the revitalization essence only brings the skill rune back to its history maximum, and if its locked 'hard failure' its still gonna be locked after color reset then restored using the revit essenc?

Yes it will still be locked if you color it and then restore it. So starting from scratch after a color is your best bet
