This has to be the best kept secret to visit in the entire Cartagena!!
Unlike the very busy Bocagrande beach, this place is a nice getaway for some peace, fun and relaxation. There are a few vendors here, but they are not pushy and actually have items that you may need....beverages, fruit, food, flotation devices for children...etc.
They have small boat tours available, kayaking, paddleboards, chairs and canopys, and the water is really shallow. There are many pelicans and various birds along the waters edge that like the attention, as well. This is a really good place to go as a family gathering and actually have a good time, This place is nothing spectacular, but such a nice beach alternative.
