To share your screen on Google Meet, follow these steps:
Start or join a Google Meet meeting: Open Google Meet in your web browser or use the Google Meet app on your device. Start a new meeting or join an existing one by entering the meeting code or clicking on the meeting link.
Join the meeting: Once you're in the meeting, make sure your camera and microphone settings are set up correctly. You'll find the options at the bottom of the screen.
Locate the screen sharing button: In the bottom right corner of the Google Meet interface, you'll see a row of icons. Look for the "Present now" button, which has a screen and an arrow pointing upward.
Choose what to share: Click on the "Present now" button, and a pop-up menu will appear with options for screen sharing. You can choose to share your entire screen, a specific application window, or a Chrome tab.
Select the screen or window: If you want to share your entire screen, click on "Your entire screen." If you want to share a specific application window, click on "A window" and then select the window you want to share from the list that appears. If you choose "A tab," you'll be able to select a specific Chrome tab to share.
Start screen sharing: Once you've selected what you want to share, click on the "Share" button. Google Meet will then begin sharing your screen with the meeting participants.
Control screen sharing: While sharing your screen, you'll see a small toolbar at the bottom of the screen that allows you to control the screen sharing options. You can pause or stop screen sharing, switch between shared screens or windows if applicable, and adjust settings like audio sharing.
Stop screen sharing: To stop sharing your screen, click on the "Stop sharing" button in the bottom toolbar or go back to the "Present now" button and select "Stop presenting."
It's important to note that depending on the device or browser you're using, the interface and options may vary slightly. However, the general steps for screen sharing on Google Meet should remain consistent across platforms.

How to share screen and the one you're sharing can be able to run my screen as it is in "Teams" of 365 window
You mean, you would like to have a different background in your MS team video call?
This answered a lot of questions for me. Thanks for the detailed description. I am still confused because what happens when I share a tab, or entire screen, I can't actually DO anything on that screen where my face is, I have to go on the actual tab and scroll or point or whatever and it will be happening on the google meet screen that I'm not looking at. Is that right? Or am I missing some step here?
Have you been able to find the solution to that? If not. let me know. I will help you. My bad, I lost your comment in my comment inbox.
@@JohnMasudParvez I would like to know what the solution is, I cannot control the screen I am sharing as well.
@@alilredsugar When you doing the presentation how many screens do you have? only your laptop or having also the 2nd screen?
@@JohnMasudParvezone screen, my laptop.
@@alilredsugar Oki you can solve this problem like this. When you share your screen in google meet,
- Pick the option - Share a window
- Select the ppt slides pack for that window in the pop up section
- Then during presentation just click around your ppt slide pack
Cheers! Dont forget to subscribe for more tips every week!

Hey! Thankyou. It was helpful. I still have one question- I am a teacher. I want to share my screen and while working on the screen let's say one note, I also want to keep a check on participants i.e I want to see their faces. This feature is available on zoom. How can I do the same in google meet??
I am glad that I could help you on this. Yes, you can do that in google too. Before I advice more one question - Are you using one screen or two screen while doing that ?
@@JohnMasudParvez I am using one screen. But everytime I want to see the faces, I have to go back to the Google meet windows. While scribbling on One note , I cannot see any one.
T U!
