I absolutely love Delvaux and that I can walk in a boutique or call a SA in New York and order a product or purchase immediately so long it is still available. Quality, amazing.
Thank you for your value added content, I own the larger (though still small) lingot and agree that it's great bag, carries two phones (one is an iphone max) and other essentials, is easy to wear crossbody, and I get compliments on it. I was wondering about the very question answered in your video since I bought it because it reminded me of the roulis.
Thanks for the informative video!!! I have been eyeing on Lingot and tada…here comes your video. I really like the design of the bag, it’s so simple but yet chic and elegant!
Hello! I’ve been following your channel with a lot of interest. Love your videos. Could you consider doing a video about under the radar timepieces for various budgets?
The Lingot is my favorite bag. I use the larger size (still pretty small) almost daily. It carries the basics. Now I can't wait to see the Leonce in person. Any chance of a review on that one.
Thank you for your great reviews. In your opinion, which handbag would be the most suitable for everyday life? Delvaux - Lingo Moynat - Flori Joseph Duclos - Diane Messenger Bag
I’ve been thinking for hours! Depends on the budget and lifestyle. I’ll try and create a quick short tomorrow if I have time after recording two scheduled videos.
Hi Anesu, beautiful presentation as always! I really like them both for different reasons: the Lingot seems to be more substantial and likely retaining well the shape in time. It has beautiful proportions in the design although the gold part of the buckle is a bit too thick for my taste. The Roulis: I do prefer this buckle, thin and elegant ( I was looking at online images and I love the fact that several of the Roulis I saw have a silver buckle...I am not fond of shiny gold hardware) . However, I do see that the bag is lighter in construction and it is a bit flimsy as you said. Certainly the Delvaux Lingot seems a better value....on another note, I would love if you could give us some suggestions with regard of belts, perhaps a future video with your recommendations?
Hello Cyclamen! Thank you! I thought about the hardware for a while it is thick, agreed, but I think it really works. The Lingot is for someone who I think is a slightly edgier dresser whereas Roulis is your feminine, pink possibly frilly lady. I’m not saying you are though! Alright I’ll push belts closer to the front of the list I’ve been putting them off for too long.
Great review! I love the Lingot, but like the added compartments of a similar crossbody Valextra bag, the Nola mini. Have you had a chance to see this bag? Which do you prefer?
The truth is when it comes to Hermes there is no comparison! People will pay times 3 of the store price of any Hermes bags. But unfortunately no one will pay the same for a Delvaux bag sorry.
There is no comparison when it comes to brand equity! Hermès will always win but quality no and that’s what I was referring to. Delvaux will never charge Hermés prices because they don’t have the same value perception and they know that hence the bag is half the price.
Delvaux do use sewing machines to stitch their bags, hence quality may look better. Hand stitching takes more time, that cost will make Hermes bags more costly to make. Hermes is not for everyone and that’s what makes them special, it’s a more exclusive product.
I am aware that the Birkin and Kelly are stitched by machine. We (consumers) are hung up on this concept of hand stitching and denoting a superior product but you will find components of production are hand stitched and others not. There are only 2 bags I’m aware of in the market that are 100% hand stitched Birkin and Kelly are not the two.
I had a chance to see the Lingot in store and completely agree with your assessment
It’s gorgeous.
I absolutely agree to your view. It is such a beauty with exquisite craftmanship.

That’s how it should be! May you continue to enjoy your bags!

I would have been shocked if you you said you didn’t get compliments. It’s a done deal with the Lingot.

You are welcome! My video is a sign from the universe.

Thank you so much. I like both of them.

@@SoAnesu My style is quite luxury, no logos. No show off. Just hight quality.

I love a medium to large bag, but the Lingot is a beauty that I would absolutely love to own.
It would provide great variety to any collection.
What a perfect yellow color 💛
Wonderfully summery!
Great review! I love the Lingot, but like the added compartments of a similar crossbody Valextra bag, the Nola mini. Have you had a chance to see this bag? Which do you prefer?
Thank you! I was looking at the Nolo last week. I like it functional and easy to use. Let me have a little think…
@@SoAnesu I just saw your quick video review of the Nolo. Thank you so much for looking into this bag and your prompt comparison with the Lingot.
What leather is the yellow Lingot again?
Alpina leather
I'd choose the Lingot, of course.😊
It's the one!

Hermes also use machines.
@@SoAnesu They don’t use sewing machines for saddle stitching their bags. What machines are you referring to?
The ones they use to sew the bags. It’s not done entirely by hand if at all.
@@SoAnesu Birkin and Kelly bags are not stitched together by machine if you were not aware.
