Not really there was stuff before this but most of it was not as good like, one character on Sesame Street or on Aurther where in 2008--2009 Rathburn was gay but was quickly forgotten about until the show went on and showed the two together in the background.
Grow a pair? Rebecca Sugar had to yank them out, she fought tooth and nail for LGTBQ+ representation and while she succeeded, she had to fight hard for it to be shown in her show!

of the Cartoon shows kids or adult at the time, the one to show the best a Gay couple was on American Dad with next door neighbors Terry and Greg acting more like a normal couple for a Seth McFarland TV show. This was well before the show was ruined in the 2010's a few years after the move to TBS, when the new person owned the show and it became all yelling almost no plot, this was when Fuzzy Door Productions left the show, part of this issue is one side can no longer handle jokes made about them due to MAGA and slightly older now more extreme Freedom Caucus that were sending the show death threats when on TBS. They even show Stan Smith his close minded Republican thinking that expanded when shown people but then had to be scaled back due to MAGA and Freedom Caucus part of the Republican party that can't take a joke.
Never really sold the show just that in USA Cartoon Network dealing with the blowback of the era where few of the shows were good, maybe Fosters Home For Imaginary Friend was about it, they had issues with a show having an Indian elephant who was actually played by an Indian voice actor who grew up in the USA, people thought was racist, and issues with shows like Misadventures of Flapjack for how the child was exploited by an adult or other terrible shows including a live era flop where Dude Perfect got their start before the 2011--2012 fix by shows like Regular Show, Scooby Doo Mystery Inc, and a show I never liked but others did, Adventure Time.
For real, that valentines episode was hilarious then Jude saying you can get shut down by the government if you discriminate against dudes, dude had me dead. Not to mention Jonsey and Jude kissed in the episode The Khaki Girl I believe, yet those aired in the States, so it’s just BS selectivism it seems. And even these episodes don’t shove the LGBTQIA plus max premium community down your throat like most shows do now, they were tamer back then.
@@craigpatton8579 Yeah the Khaki girl episode did happen to air in the USA, this season 4 happened after Cartoon Network already aired the episode of that other TV show based on a fake reality show (I Wanna be Famous) had the young women in season 1 end up naked that after the first airing was big black bars instead of pixelated like the original airing day where the episode played 2 times as did everything in this era becuse the short lived live era with the Dude Perfect as the main live show died out in 2009 or 2010 so Cartoon Network had to air everything 2 times. It was the earlier episode of season 1 that never aired for several reasons.
They played Role Reversal in repeats of the show never that first episode but the second yes I remember on Cartoon Network. Of course, this was after the other show the company did about a fake game show showed one time by mistake the nudity censored episode where the clothes came off a young woman in season 1 that was only aired to keep continuity of the show. Later on instead of being blurred out with pixels the episode had big black bars on the characters nudity.
Why? It shouldn't be distasteful or sexualized but to have it in a subtle way here and there same way you can observe it on a daily basis in real life is perfectly fine.
I love how they added the fact Nikki was bi 6teen was so ahead of its time
That and her bf seemed to be too
@@juliantapia1407 Hi! Which episode is that at 00:25?
One of my favorite asian women
well who knew, corporations waited until the LGBT stuff was popular to start airing it on their network
Not really, I mean Aurther Had Rathburn as gay in the 2000's around 2008--2009 on an episode with his boyfriend and was quickly forgotten.
It only took Steven Universe airing for America to grow a pair and just let gay characters be present in children’s television

Yeah that's when CN was already dying, according to CN themselves. All they did was make it die faster.
@@SorceressRoseWorst decision ever
The first episode got banned because Jude confirmed that he is Jewish too and the other episode that confirmed that got banned in the US too
That's a pretty stupid reason.

Wouldn’t be the first character to be somewhat confirmed bing bi. Bob from Bobs burgers has been confimed. From what I heard anyway.
Adult show, and it was in the second USA Thanksgiving episode in season 2 or 3.
Sometimes I forget that shows like this and Drawn Together aired in the early 2000's, and the world was a much different place for those topics.

@fictionalmoshpit Hi! Which episode is that at 00:25?
Oh
Sounds pretty gay
I don't believe that they should have l. G b t q content on any cartoons for children
why? i don't really understand. it's just a relationship, you see those all the time in shows
if that affects you so much then thats a you problem, not an entire world problem, and you should just ignore it 😭🙏
Then they shouldn't have any "straight" content on any cartoons for children either. 🤷♀️
It isn't gonna make ur kids gay, chill
