- Here is one of the thirteen 2014 Peterbilt McNeilus ZR's from my yard. These all started collecting garbage but as 4 2016 Peterbilt ZR's and most recently some 520 ZR's arrived they have been pushed to recycling and pushing the remaining Mack Autoreach's to spares. These are pretty entertaining especially collecting heavy recycling in some newer developments on the Tuesday route by me. Residential for Republic is almost fully CNG now with Pete ZR's on garbage and recycling and mainly Pete Meridian Curotto Can's on Yard Waste.
Republic Services this video is intended for entertainment not to get the driver in trouble. If there is anything wrong rather correct the driver then get him in trouble so they don't make the same mistake in the future.

I enjoyed this thanks for making vids 🥳🥳😆👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼
Love it
great video by the way
Nice video! I really liked the shots with both trucks. The cart variety was great too. Awesome work!
mndsi Thanks!
In my old neighborhood there was those kind
of trash cans.
but we had a different trash company.
we had waste management.
in July I filmed that same truck!
Edit: mine is trash but it's still 2552
These trucks are always fun to watch on recycle. Boy these trucks are popping up everywhere now. Looks like republic wants to make this combo a nationwide thing which is kind of a downer because I think it would get boring if every republic division had just one type of resi truck. Funny how they have these guys on the normal side of the truck. Don't see that a lot. I'm used to resi drivers being on the other side lol. Must be a safety policy since republic worries about the left turns and all lol.
TheNVTrashMan I agree with you, that would definitely get pretty boring seeing all 320/520 ZRs. Although there are exceptions because by me the Republic shops are just about all Curotto and rear load for resi. There’s a good chance I’ll never see a ZR around me because nobody has ever bought one around here.
It's funny how our yard started the whole Pete ZR thing with these and now we have 520 ZR's like all the other yards. Every trucks is left hand drive except the Curotto's have both.
Also 4 - 5 weeks ago they got a new zr and it's 2565
REPUBLIC!
5:29 another one
Our guys who use mcneilus zrs will raise up the claw to double dump if material doesn't come out when they bang them out the first t
Wil Silvers Who do you work for?
@@minnesotagarbageman I don't work for any company? I just follow them around neighborhoods
Republic does that in my area
Why did Republic put a sticker over the Allied Waste logo on the carts? Republic merged with Allied and in some areas the trucks are mandated to be labeled as Allied.
rep5214 mandated Allied branding in some areas is due to contractual obligations. I’m betting that when the contracts go back up for bid in those areas, that republic will be what the name changes to. As far as this area, I’m betting due to the fact it is an open market area, with many different permitted companies doing business, they wanted a uniform look to their carts and their fleet. This way there is no guessing on who the company is. Although it appears that cart delivery has not been doing their job as well as they should, since there are still some AW branded carts being distributed to new customer accounts.
They just passed out old carts and put stickers over them. They don't have to be a certain company
