I was surprised by how different the pricings for hyundais and Kias are compared to NA market. For that Yydbrid Santa Fe you can buy a Tesla Model Y plus change.
Maybe that's why it's called a concept car? to showcase the new design language or technology of the manufacturer. It may or may not be released to the market, literally BMW, Mercedes, Ferari, etc are all doing this too.

I don’t think the TJM front steel bumper on the Isuzu Dmax is “fabricated”. The TJM Outback steel bumper for that exact Isuzu Dmax model has been available on the market for quite some time now.
No WR-V (and I don’t think they’re ever selling that here), no new HR-V (for next year at least). Looks like when it comes to new models, they’re focusing on the Civic only.
Because it was unveiled first in the states. We need to wait for months before they launched here just like the EV9 and the mid-year facelifted Isuzu MU-X.
Honda is stucked in the twilight zone. It still thinks that the present day is still the 90s where its competitors are still decades behind it. Case in point, A civic rs hybrid is just a hair shy of Php 2M or a limited edition type R for Php 4.5M. . If going from zero to psychotic speeds is your thing. for roughly P600k more, you could get a BYD GT Seal that can go from zero to 100kmh in 3.8 seconds.
Sorry but Honda has a quite strong presence in other SEA countries. But I do agree with your point on the pricing, Toyota was able to cut their prices of their hybrid cars while Honda is disappointing with this one, hopefully they come to their senses.
The Honda Civic hybrid price here is actually spot on IMO - it’s sold at virtually the same price in the US with less features than what is being sold here. And given the glowing reviews it’s gotten everywhere (and I do mean glowing), they will sell as many units as they can import here.

Kia imports battery for their EVs and sells their car for 5m.

BYD Seal can go as fast as it can, but the truth is, people will rather own this new Civic e-HEV than a BYD, and that is a fact
