The legal speed limit is 70 mph (dual carriageway), however the max speed limit 50 sign you refer to is rectangular and therefore an advisory or information sign. You cannot be convicted of exceeding the 50 mph advisory sign, however you can be convicted of driving without due care and attention if you ignore the advisory sign and end up having an accident, (which is why the advisory signs have been put there).

at 4.40 you said the road is a 70mph but on the bridge it says max speed 50 is that due to the bend in the road ?
Hi mate... that's correct. Speed was 70mph....but speed not matter if it is not safe to do so...
