I’ve used this light on quite a few dives now, Am very happy with it. The one downside, is that if the bolt snapped gets bent over in the right direction, it will occasionally turn on the light by hitting the magnetic switch. The tighter/closer you can get the bolt snap attached to the lanyard hole the less that happens. I dive green water, and have found that the lower light setting usually works the best for Wisconsin lakes. It works great for peaking in the port holes on Lake Michigan shipwrecks.
I also found that the Goodman hand mount becomes a little loose when wet. So make sure to fasten the bolt snap to the loop so you don’t lose the light. I actually replaced mine with a Velcro version.
But for the price, I love this light! I use it as my primary for recreational diving.

I have two of the exact same light. Best all around light I’ve ever had. Love it and it’s with me on every dive clipped on my d ring

cd = Candela, the luminous intensity, ie the power per unit of solid angle. Lumens is a measure of the total light produced summed across the beam.

You are so focused on the box and the internal packing, it doesn't matter especially since you are going to be putting the box away and never use it. The light is great for what it was meant to be and for the price.

Very decent torch, nice size. Beware of the wrist mount - it's not tight enough and the torch will fall out. Wrapping it with a bit of innertube or similar will solve this.

@safediving I literally just got one of these today and my batteries were different. Typical battery and cradle setup. I checked the Orcatorch website and they show the same setup.

Thanks for the video, but 17 min for a torch review is to long. I skipped half of it to get just the essential infos.
