I was really pleased deciding to go down at the last min and watch the game with my 4 sons on Sunday nite. It was a great night especially with this time of year its very rare to have sold out games. The best family time for a while❤
That's brilliant, my kids aren't really into it. They drift in to watch a bit with me but then drift back to other stuff. Sad but you can't force it on them

Over the moon the boys backed up the mammoth win vs the Panthers with this momumental effort 💯 I wasn’t confident about this game with all the injuries, positional changes, late withdrawals,the form of the dolphins & also been drained from the previous game i thought it was too much to ask from the boys 🙏🏽 backs against the wall, next man up mentality it made all the Warriors supporters REALLY enjoy this win before the bye round. Massive Congratulations WAHnett on selection for the Blues squad - Well deserved 🤙🏽

It's going to be interesting to have a thing about this...I have a feeling my top 17 will have changed a little since before the season started.
Atmosphere at the Game was Awesome. At the start of the year I was stoked we has so much depth in certain positions I never thought we would be playing our 4th and 5th options in certain positions but we did and still got the Ws vs top 4 teams. Hopefully this can continue, injuries have been insane and of Course at this game early on, we lose a hooker again.
Yeah it was crazy to lose Paul at exactly the same time as we lose Egan last week. But next man up eh
I live in South Korea and often have to listen on the radio. ABC is my go to but will try SENZ one day. Those guys are awesome at painting a picture.

You get all the NRL games live and on demand, plus all the Fox League shows, Origin and test footy. The Continuous Call Team on 2GB Radio are really good value too.
@@thewarriorholic I looked but $200 is too much for me. I have ways to watch live and other ways to watch a day later. NRL used to provide the games for free the next day, but they stopped that this year, only providing last seasons games. Keep up the great work.

100% agree, so tough to single players out. Every man played with the heart of a Warrior. Not something we have always been able to say over the years..but the Webby Wahs are a different beast
These new young guys stepped up last 2 games, they know they can win games against top teams. When these others come back after bye from injury and don’t perform they should be dropped to reserves for a game, everyone should earn their spot on week to week game performance.

DWZ didn't fake the injury, when he jumped for a catch the attacking player Farnworth jumped leading with his knee (like SFII Sagat) which connected into DWZ's ribs or stomach. Farnworth's line break only happened because the ref called Niukore not straight at the ruck so he had to pull out as he was about to tackle which opened the gate for Farnworth.
Yeah that’s fair, but he’s constantly grabbing the jaw and stuff. I kinda understand it but I hate how the simulation is coming into the game. I can’t complain too much about the ref this week, that surely has to be our first game in years with no penalties conceded
Agreed our offloads weren't there up until the Panthers and Dolphins, that second phase ball seem to be a good tactic, can be a double edged sword, but so far its worked well for us.
Yeah we used to just through them for the sake of it back in the day, but the have disappeared under Webby. Good to have them back but like you say need to use them wisely.

I loved the win,but still have to ask why they make it so hard to win,you don't always have to run into brick walls to win,what about going round,use the whole field brothers.not just the middle,....have a good rest with the bye.
I think that's partly because they rate their fitness and want to fatigue the opposition middles, which then allows us to dominate in the back end of the game. But agree, we need to play more expansive at times, keep them guessing. Particularly on the 4th tackle when we're coming out of our half

Youve pretty much summed up everything. To also add, I thought Montoya was especially good under the high ball. Only small criticism I had was towards TMM in that I thought his last play long kicks were a little too shallow at times. He was otherwise extremely good and a MOM contender alongside DWZ and Barnett.
Yeah agree...If TMM could just polish his 5th tackle options and avoid that kick coming off the side of his boot he would be unbelievable. But still way better than I thought he would be at 7, I always thought he was a 6
Against the Panthers I think Montoya played his best game of the season, hes so Physical and hes starting to look like a Mummy with all that strapping now.

Given the circumstances arguably our best back to back wins in our history.The two wins have certainly kept us alive in a season that looked in dire trouble.
Our discipline was top class with no high tackles etc and only 3 set restarts for offside.
Taufa on debut was exceptional with a couple of huge try saving tackles on Herbie Farnsworth.Surely we have enough good centers now to move RTS to wing when he returns.
Montoya had his best game in ages.Why Dolphins kept bombing him when Kosi was on the other wing is mystifying but thankfully they did.Totally agree Kosi should be moved into back row.
Marata back was huge while Ford's motor is massive.Amazingly he was the first player in frame to pick up the ball after Hammer knocked on a kick.
Going forward plenty for Webster to ponder like who plays at 6 when SJ returns / what to do with RTS/how to handle Tohu's minutes etc.I would keep CHT at 6 but who knows.
12 games left if we can win 7 we should sneak into the finals so the excitement is back bro

@@thewarriorholicWill be very interesting who Webster picks but the backs are fairly straight forward for me the only question will be either CHT or TMM at 6 however the forward mix has become very difficult to pick as some who deserve to be in will miss out.
CNK /DWZ/Montoya/Berry/Pompey/CHT/SJ - Barnett / AFB / Egan / Tohu / Walker / Ford - Ale / Jazz / Nuikore / Lussick - 18th TMM
However Webster will very likely put Capewell in and find a spot for Bunty plus I think he will put TMM at 6 with CHT on bench moving Lussick to 18th.
Capewell is a big concern for me as it seems he gets a spot no matter what but I have a gut feeling his best days are well behind him - he could be a dud 3 year buy.Tohu is also looking physically busted and mentally drained perhaps he would best not to go another year or at least hand captaincy to Barnett.
Webster will have to be ruthless with players if any fail in the energy level department but suspending AFB for a week shows he has the fortitude for tough calls.Top coaches have no fear of tough calls eg Bellayache with NAS this year and Wayne Bennet cutting the great Wally Lewis when he was a novice coach.
@@jackohere1878 interesting. I’m a big CHT fan but like you say Webby will probably run with TMM initially. Hope him and SJ sync better. What are your thoughts on giving Walker a couple of weeks to sort his ankle? Interesting to hear your thoughts on Capewell. You’re not alone, I’ve hear a bunch of people say that. Hope he proves us wrong and comes back and lights it up
@@thewarriorholic CHT is a natural 6 with a real competitive nature/great left foot kick and is so tough on D I doubt opposition backrowers enjoy running at him for long during games.
Webster likely learnt a lot after playing SJ too long with his achilles injury so if Walker's ankle is hampering him much I would now think he will be rested.
I'll be interested on your take on this. Can we have Ford, Capewell and Harris starting if given the choice? I feel they're all to similar and we would lack a dynamic punch. Can't have Ford and Capewell for mine. Ford and Niakore is best suited to our game. Does this make Capewell a bad buy and surplass to our requirements? Harris needs to share minutes with Walker for the better of the team. Bennett as captain from now on he's impressed with his on field leadership where he..actually speaks unlike Tohu. The backline is tricky. So many options so it's not as big a "concern" because i feel whatever combo will work. Just concered Webbys loyalty for Capewell and Tohu could be a problem selecting the next side.
This is a really great question! I started to reply but I’d end up writing a novel 🤣 let me answer it in a video I’m doing this weekend. It’s a roster review of all the players we’ve used in NRL and Cup. Hopefully with Gerard from Warriors Anonymous.
We’ll be looking at the depth in each position, we’ll come up with our best 17 for the next block and how Webby will use his bench rotation. The Capewell question will be a key part of that.
