Two Steps From Hell - Flight of the Silverbird (Piano Version)
    Piano Version by Patrik Pietschmann
Some of you have asked me again and again to do "Flight of the Silverbird" by Two Steps From Hell and I had also planned to dedicate myself to this epic track for quite some time. However, I had already guessed that this arrangement will take more time and energy than usual. And now that I finally uploaded this video, I can say that it was really one of the most challenging arrangements for me. So together with my other private challenges, the last 2 months have flown by for me, but I am also aware that 2 months on RUclips can mean a very long time. So thank you for your patience with me and I plan to upload more regularly again in the future.
Any suggestions for future arrangements? Please leave them in the comments.

Welcome back Patrik! I hope everything went as planned with your move! I'm all the more pleased that we're about to get a TSFH double pack! First 'Star Sky' and now 'Flight Of The Silverbird', it doesn't get any better!
Damn, I love that piece! 'Flight Of The Silverbird' is quite an energetic, fast and powerful track. 11 pages of sheet music... Considering the short length of the piece, that's saying something! I think TSFH did a really great job and lived up to the title of the piece as you can almost hear the bird flying through the whole piece. These fast movements in the strings over the main melody are very characteristic. That's why I was extremely interested in how you're going to implement it! Well, what can I say, you absolutely nailed it again! You have implemented this hectic and lively mood in a grandiose way. One example: bar 19. Integrating the melody into these rapid arpeggios is highly intelligent, literally makes the bird fly and certainly needs a little more practice. Bar 35: another very exciting passage begins. The melody switches to the left hand and is subtly accompanied by the arpeggios in the right hand, giving the atmosphere and the feeling: "We're supposed to go somewhere". In addition, the main melody can be heard quite often in the piece. So the major task is to make some kind of variety to take place. After all, playing the melody the same way every time would be boring. But of course you paid attention to that again! I think this piece was pretty practice-intensive, right? There were a wealth of technical challenges!
After all, Bergersen's pieces are always telling stories. In this case, the story of a bird, just amazing!
One question that always comes to mind while listening: How do you feel while playing your pieces? Is it nervousness, happiness or pure excitement? Do you have special rituals before you start recording and do you sometimes need several attempts?
    Schönes Wochenende Dir!
    All the very best,
    Lasse

Dear Lasse, your comments blow me away every time! I have a big smile on my face every time I read your words. Many, many thanks for that, I appreciate it so much. I love how you analyze my arrangements! To your question: When I record an arrangement, I'm pretty tense. I'm glad you can't see my face on the video. 😅 I then always have to make myself between not thinking about anything else and fully concentrating on the thing. Of course I need several attempts, I'm not a machine! Sometimes I record up to 5 hours of material until there is the one take that I am happy with. After that I'm always pretty exhausted.

Hi, Patrick! Wonderful arrangement as usual! Your works are really inspiring.
I want to say that I've started to learn to play the piano recently. I got this desire thanks to you. When I came across your video two years ago it delighted me very much. I became a huge fan of you since then. The desire to learn to play the piano became stronger day after day and finally I got it, the same model as yours. There're no words to express my gratitude to you. The new goal appeared in my life. You gave it to me. Thank you so much for everything you do!
By the way, I have several questions to you, if you don't mind)
How long have you been playing the piano? Do you remember all the arrangements you've done and do you play them from time to time (maybe to your family or friends)?

This may sound silly, but when I was a young teen I was going through a very difficult time in my life, and I came across your YT channel. Your music really planted a deep appreciation for music in my heart and inspired me to start playing the piano more frequently. I felt a joy that I had not really felt before when playing the piano, so I even found myself playing the piano for hours straight. I have enjoyed learning many of your pieces and have frequently listened to them while driving in the car, reading, or studying over the past few years. You have the ability to capture the true heart of each cover you do unbelievably well. Thank you so much for what you do in making truly beautiful music and quality content for all of us. 1:03 Ich meine was soll ich sagen...

I’ve been sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for this one!! I decided to hold off on learning this piece until a “Patrik” version was available - I absolutely love your style and your covers of Two Steps from Hell are the greatest, Patrik!! I don’t care how long it takes but I will learn this one day 😄

This is amazing, captures every aspect of every part in the orchestra in one instrument.
Can you please do an arrangement of "to glory" by two steps from hell, continuing with TSFH? I would be very happy if you did so

I remember when I discovered your channel for the first time. Never touched a piano in my life and wanted to learn my fav music that's Time. Which is ironic as it's your first video. I also knew two steps from hell and loved few songs, love some starwars' aswell and fond of Hans Zimmer. We have the exact same taste of music and your arrangements are wonderful Im never disappointed clicking a video. Congratulations for your insane skills, thank you for sharing it you have a beautiful heart to play like this wish I could see you one day !
